The differences are basically just to the design. In the USA there are a different pair of turn indicators both at the front and the rear.
The switch you use to switch on the headlamps is absent as it is a Law there. Motorcycles should have their head-lamps and tail-lamps always turned on.
Then there is the absence of the front license plate set. The rear end doesn't have the extra metal grab handle which is exclusive to the Indian model. The rear license plate set is different which is longer and has reflectors on either side.
Basically there are cosmetic changes because the norms are different in different countries. Hence the different manuals I guess. I may be wrong but that's what I could come up with!

In addition to these, theres a charcoal canister and a different/offset fuel tank cap

            Thanks for the clarification.

            Anyway,

This might be premature but does anyone know if the racing bubble windscreen is all clear and transparent like the street version that has the light cut out? I'm curious to see if the lights can be seen through the racing bubble (without the light cut out).

            Racing bubble

Anyone who has tried to put the racing windshield over the headlight?

To see if the headlight still works a bit?

Really want the racing windshield for the looks and aerodinamics , but dont want to loose the headlight.

Ive done 8500KMS on my RC so far and the metz seem pretty decent, while i can see wear on the rear tyre the front is a new one it was replaced after i met with an accident (Lunatics on our streets I tell you). Where in mumbai do you get METZ ??

We ended up going through a pair of knee sliders during that session so no, I think our cornering skills are just about right.

The rear is over tyred, there is no way you can use the entire rear tyre of the metz without grinding off your foot pegs.

I haven't even reached the end of the tire and I've already scraped the fairing. Interestingly though the fairing scrapes more on the right than the left.
you managed to scrape the under belly both sides ?? mine scrapes on the right only

                        Hello emon1990.
Since you have done 13600kms; I have a question for you. Is the power the same as when your bike was 1000 kms old or have you felt a drop in power?
I sometimes feel the power has reduced in my bike, maybe its a psychological effect since I am gone used to this power, but just wondering. I wanted to test ride a new bike, but the svc did not have one at the moment for test rides. My bike has done around 6500kms.

Thats mostly a pseudo effect which happens in bikes which can handle better than the engine capacity they are designed for. Its just my vague assumption, but based on experience. Want to enjoy full power? Ride any other lower capacity bike for 2/3 days and then come back on 390.

Well, I agree with you 100% about riding a lower capacity bike and then coming back to the 390. Sometimes I ride my TBTS for a week and then when I ride my 390 I feel on top of the world, but only for a day and then I am again not satisfied with the power. Planning on booking the CBR 650F as it just seems perfect since I love an inline 4 and probably after a remap and a few mods if it will perform like a CBR 600rr..... Huh the crave for power never ends....

Well it did feel like that for a bit but then got my new chain sprocket kit and it felt like day 1

                                Hi guys

How often does the chain needs to be tensioned. I've done a few speed runs post first service and after 400 kms it seems to be loose
