Happens to me too. Once I had switched it off on a red light.. And when i tried to start it it jumped forward though console showed neutral.. I try to shift more hardly making sure it is in the right gear.. And don't shift gear when bike is offOriginally posted by SpeedyKol View PostComment

the parts manual is now available on ktm website itself Spare Parts Finder though it doesn't list the rc series

As a matter of fact, if you're looking at engine componentry and most of the electrical stuff, the RC and naked series share the same platform, if you're looking to gain some insight on the motor and the overall theme of the bike, the naked's workshop manual is a good place to start. The RC series differs only on the external and on quite a few on the electrical components side, but they're pretty much the same, for the most part.Originally posted by nilesh9777 View Post

Got a chance to ride the 2016 rc390!
It comes with slipper clutch, three cluster abs, ride by wire, updated levers and electronics, new exhaust. 😎
Feels almost the same but the sound of it is really disgusting. Clutch is way more softer and gearbox has become smoother.. The upgrades are cool But overall I would prefer the rc which we have! 😁

I really want the clutch to be softer. Its a pain in city rides.

It is different abs, ecu has also changed.. Electronics as in the mileage indicator and fuel indicator is more accurate is what i felt.Originally posted by Mail2vasant View PostComment

Ok, I had my RC390 standing idle since the past 5 months and have finally taken her out now as I was out of the country. She is due for a rear tire change. Bike has clocked around 7000 kms. I am sooooo very confused as to which tire to buy. The SVC guys tell me that Michellin is excellent and the Metz are just not worth it. I personally just love the Metz, but I have not ridden a bike with the Michellin. It would be great if any of you'll could share some advice here. I am not a fan of leaning or cornering. I just want the tire to perform like the Metz under extreme acceleration and extreme braking on Highways.
BTW, have any of you'll used a tire called Timsun. 150/60-R17. It is a tire from Taiwan. The tread pattern is excellent and the price is Rs:5200. I just cannot find any reviews on this tire. I have seen a spare parts shop in Chennai selling this tire.
