Yes.
Don't worry much and enjoy the bike.
Engine is run in period and thats why its getting hot.
Regarding engine ice and oil, stick with stock setup right now.
Try the things you want to try after 2-3k oddo.

Is it possible to stick car window film on the RC's front visor? Would like a smoked effect without losing the visibility

It should be possible. I'm planning on getting it done on mine too.

Tints are available for smoking lights. They are far more stretchable than window films. vishnu.leo had them on his RC200.

Can anyone explain me the relation between high bhp with low torque and low bhp with high torque..
Im somewhat confused in this aspect. .thanks in advance. ..

Horsepower is how fast you go into the wall, Torque is how much of the wall you take with you. [emoji14]
Torque is the rotating or twisting force on the object and
Horsepower= torque x rpm/5252
How fast the vehicle will go doesn't depend on any of this, with right gearing etc. you can get better..

Everything else being equal, a vehicle with higher horsepower will be faster and usually have a higher top speed.
Some engines give more torque at lower rpm so they can accelerate faster from a standstill because the engine doesn't have to rev very high before delivering torque. Think of Torque as the ability of an engine to pull the vehicle, for heavier vehicles higher torque is needed t a lower rpm to get the vehicle going. Max power is achieved at an rpm higher than the max torque, because the engine speed is high enough to compensate for the drop in torque.

Hi all, So what mods have you done to ur RC recently?
Its been a month since I have purchased. ODO is still at 68km. Thanks to lousy RTO officials who have been bestowed with the job of registering the vehicle.

Hey guys just did 1300 kms solo round trip on my RC390.

Somewhere near Asangaon

Khopoli

Lonavala

A quick selfie

The bike didn't gave me any trouble and max fuel efficiency achieved was 33.18kms/Lts between Nasik-Mumbai section. Though one has to watch out for lane cutting cars very often.

The body aches I experienced were 1. Sore neck and 2. Palms.

The bike is very good on nice roads but even 500m stretch of broken tarmac will make you curse with clutch slipping and palms aching .

P.s.: Used Viaterra non- magnetic tank bag for luggage. Was quite stable through out the ride.

Guys I had a few issues with the bike, will be taking to SVC first thing in the morning on Monday, but would like to get some opinions here on what it could be.
Firstly, the bike is a month old now, ridden for around 3 weeks, with 750km on the ODO. Never been dropped/hit, so no issues there. However I am experiencing a few issues.

While riding, the bike feels unstable. Its a little hard to explain, but basically what I've felt is that while riding, the front of the bike is bouncy, the way it would be if you go over a really irregular patch of road, but this happens on the smallest bumps too. I rode it in a straight line in the basement, which is a flat surface, and definitely felt it again(maybe some wheel issue?).

Also, the front of the bike feels a lot rougher/more vibrations, mainly in the handlebars, which feels very unsteady at times. Another thing I've noticed about the handlebars is that it feels very 'loose'. Earlier, there was a little bit of effort required to move it left/right, now it happens very quickly(a little too quickly) as if something is loose. While riding, to test this out, I slightly moved the handlebars left and right, and again definitely felt something off.

Along with this, as I mentioned a few days ago, my front brake seems to have some issues too. The squeaking noise occurs more often than before, and the front brake seems a little weaker(although this weaker brake may just be my imagination.) It feels easier to press/squeeze, but with a lower braking power.A

It's all towards the front of the bike, so I think some part is defective/spoilt maybe- wheels/handlebar etc.? I will be taking it to SVC in the morning on Monday before college and leaving it there to get it checked

Would really like some suggestions on this, I don't feel confident enough to take the bike out again, has anyone had this issue or knows what it could be?
Thanks!

Check front wheel tyre pressure. Its normally 25-28 psi.
Check the chain . Loose/tighter, adjust it. Lube the chain. Most important.

At svc check for tyre alignment.

3rd service done @ 5k costed 1.4k

Weekend ride update.
400kms in two days.

Oh man what a bike performs. Totally satisfied with bike. Can't except much.
Easily achieving 130-140.
Totally Stable.
ABS kicked in 2 times.
Its must for the bike if you wanna ride faster.

200kms tank to tank method, avg 26-27kmpl.

Observed bike is hurting ego of car drivers.. specifically VW or Skoda.. no hard feelings.
Let them go first and then just twist throttle little bit and see them into your mirrors
:-)

Try to clean it with little bit wet clean cotton cloth.
