Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Hello everyone.
I'll be visiting New Delhi tomorrow. I just want to know that is there anything special or any good accessory which I can buy for her (my bike) from New Delhi?
Note - It may appear a kiddish question to you. The moderators can remove it if you think so. [emoji4]
Thanking you

Hy Guys Need Expert Advise.
Cleaned and lubed the RC 390 chain today and found one of the O rings to be different from others. Any idea?
My guess is its either twisted or beginning to get shredded. Total on the ODO < 2K
This has not caused any performance issue as such. But would like to know if this is common or should i take any precautions?

Blind Spot Mirrors On RC 390:
Am sure many of the RC owners would have tried this already. Just sharing my experience.
Like many RC owners i found the RC RVM's to be short of coverage. Either you get to see your own arms till half of the RVM's or you can see till the far end of the adjacent lane while sacrificing on the view of vehicles which are close behind you.
It was getting difficult to shift lanes as i could hardly see if someone was close behind me or at the side of the bike.
Ordered the Vheelocity 70079 i-Pop Flexible Car Blind Spot Convex Side Rear View Mirror from Amazon.in for 300 Rs Approx.

BSM's
Blind Spot Mirrors)
- They are of good quality and has a round base.
- The mirrors are attached to the base by a rotary socket, meaning once fixed they can rotate to adjust your view.
- The base has a 3M adhesive double sided sticker - sticks firmly to the RVM mirrors.
The installation is quiet easy, just remove the cover tape, select the position on RVM and stick it.
I have been using it for 2 days now and am very much pleased with the result. Am more confident in shifting lanes as i have more visibility of who is close to the bike or just behind the bike. I choose the far end of the RVM's to place the BSM's since they gave a better view of what was behind me and next to the bike.
I use the stock RVM's to see the far end of the other lane and for looking out for any vehicle which is far behind. The BSM's are not great to view far away vehicles since they appear too small to be noticed easily.
To Note:- Not great during night but manageable.
- Needs a little getting used to. Looking at both RVM and BSM. You will be ok with them in few hours.
I recommend them for city usage - very useful and assurance while shifting lanes.

If you look at the item description the ad says that the mirrors would be foldable. The mirrors which I have got are non foldable, I ve talked to the seller about it and I would be pushing for a replacement... But the delivery from ebay takes a lot of time..

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
The price listed on eBay is Rs.1299.00. That's a lot for those mirrors. The exact same quality mirrors are available in the Royal Enfield Spares Store in J C Road Bangalore for Rs. 650. They even have a slightly better quality mirrors for Rs. 900. I gifted them to a friend, they are very good.Originally posted by Amodraut View Posthttps://m.ebay.in/itm?itemId=191833501346

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
By front, do you mean handlebars/console area, or from the front fairing area?Originally posted by Pawan Kajla View PostGuyz.... Rattling sounds comes from front... How to fix... Someone knows about that...
Does it sound like a keychain constantly rattling against the handlebar maybe? I've had that too, apparently comes from console, but never figured it out
However its pretty minor, so I ignore it.

Check if battery cover is loose and also in some cases sound comes from number plate too.Originally posted by Pawan Kajla View PostGuyz.... Rattling sounds comes from front... How to fix... Someone knows about that...
Rev the bike in a stationary position and check where sound is coming from and don't rev when engine is cold

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
It might be from battery cover, my battery cover used to make rattling sounds, just check if it's battery cover, I can tell you a simple hack which will resolve this issue.
