. And regarding the gear pedal lever, there is no such issue in it.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Hello,
I bought the 2016 RC390 (slipper clutch and always on headlamps) 2 weeks back from KTM HRBR in Bangalore. The purchase was like buying a pack of cigarettes from a roadside vendor. They did not care, neither did I because I was extremely busy.
On the day of delivery, I went and inspected the vehicle, High Beam doesnt work. He says, take it to the service center.
They do not offer empty number Plates so I had to cough up another 100 bucks for that which I found ridiculous.
I own a CBR250R and coming from there, the RC is a beast. A wild, crude & untamed beast. It is scarily fast. the CBR is slow and as smooth as slicing a hot knife through butter.
After about 100km of riding, I had an issue with the gear lever. 1st gear would never exchange and I had to literally stamp heavy on it with my heel. Took it to Kasturba service center and they fixed the issue in about 5 minutes. However, they asked me to leave the bike for a whole day to get the high beam fixed. Again, I did not have to let that happen. Probably during my first service.
The only thing I did on the bike was remove the rear Tyre hugger to make it look a wee bit better.
So, I have noticed a lot of heating and engine roughness which apparently the first service is bound to cure. I also notice on the MID that I get a FE of 20kmpl. Is this normal and expected to increase ? I'm still running in the engine and am not riding too hard (thought its very tempting).
A parting picture (Half Helmet only for the pose. I use an SOL helmet with full riding gear)

Looks great and seems like it's more usable than the current version, any idea if it can be fitted on older versions and the cost?Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Guys i have an issue. It has been just a week since I bought the bike and i have just noticed that my handlebar is slightly bent towards the right side. While riding the stability of the bike is fine but when ridden without holding the handlebars it sways to the left.
Can this be a easy fix or do i have to replace the triple clamp or the handlebars?
Here are some pics
The gap between right side handlebar and the tank is less than the.

As most of you might be aware that KTM is going to discontinue current RC390 and Duke 390 by this year so there wont be anymore updates for current model.
Cant wait to see next gen RC and Duke.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Engine oil with oil filter is changed after 7500kms according to Ktm service manual . It's not necessary to change oil with oil filter if bike has not covered prescribed distance.Originally posted by SpeedyKol View PostIs it necessary to change the engine oil after 1400 kms during 2nd free service?

I had this too, all he said was it was a wheel alignment gone wrong, and had to be tuned. Cost 300Originally posted by PULKRY0 View PostGuys i have an issue.
