It won't as long as other fan is having same current And voltage rating

Please feel free to ask any questions, but do research a bit before asking !

          Bit confused here.
There are 12 bars on console for temperature out of which mostly temperature remains at 8 bars, means last 4 bars left. This is with OEM fan.

Now as per your description temperature remains at last 3 bars means 9 bars reached, which is more than stock fan.
          Can you clear confusion??

Also link please to buy the fan

Wrong. There are 13 temperature bars on the Duke 390 and 9 fuel gauge bars. They usually always hover around 8 bars which is normal. 8-9 is normal, fluctuating 10 means the bike is in fact hot. The moment it touches the upper segment, better to stop the bike and cool down a little bit before you head towards your chores. Keep pusing it especially during traffic, you would stall with the display showing High Coolant Temp.

            Cheers!

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

he probably means three bars shy of the lower segment, which is around 1-2 lower than with normal fan as B7ACKTHORN explained.

I showed the fan to a KTM service engineer and he was really impressed with the performance and borrowed it for a day to test it. He then gave a thumbs up so I don't think there will be any issues with warranty. Its like changing the brand of the tyre or battery! Its that perfect fitting on the bike.

The temperature stays 2 bars shy of the lower segment. Like the normal fan only. But unlike the stock, the bars have NEVER reached the 2nd last marking on the lower segment. Moreover it is very silent and works for considerably lesser time.

i am skeptical if they would continue warranty, could be that some svc depending on your rapport with them might honor warranty in case something goes wrong (like a head gasket failure or overheating etc..)

now coming to the fan, will it also fit the duke 200 ? all i've seen is folks with the 390's plonking this fan in. is the radiator/fan mounting points the same on the 200 and 390 ? I know 390's coolant capacity is a little bit more coolant than the 200, but i am assuming the radiator is the same across the ktm's. Can you check with your svc?
i'll be visiting my svc a couple of weeks later and will check with them too.

Yes all fluids are 100 to 200 ML less in the Duke 200 than the 390, especially the coolant. Yes they both have the same fan.

Sometimes when I apply the front brake the brake lever just pushes out and and goes full in but no brakes get applied and then when I leave the lever and apply the brake again it works.. I doubt this is due to abs... Also my front brake feels a lot spongier than the other rc390s in my group.. Anyone having similar problems?

Same thing has happened with me in past. I thought that it is some fault with the ABS as it happened quite frequently but with time it gradually faded away. Also, i started hitting the brakes with much more power as abs used to throw the brake lever away when pressed softly. I really hate the amount of power you need to apply on the discs and yet I end up relying on rc390's brakes for its unqiue combination of power and abs.

Guys, I am looking forward to raise the height of clip ons on rc390. What do you guys think if it would be practical to fit the clip ons from bajaj rs200 to ktm rc390?

Low brake fluid can cause this? Has happened to me 3-4 times and once at high speed..

get the brakes checked, probably have them remove the caliper and check if the pistons are moving freely when the brake is applied and finally bleed the line and top up the fluid.
after all they are brakes and spending a little more time checking it thoroughly will probably save your life.
