Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
That's good. Even I am thinking to buy and stock Michelin pilot street 150/60 which is costing around 4800 after discount on filpkart, Amazon.Originally posted by SpeedyKol View PostMarket rates vary between 720-780 as per my sources/radar. I got them from amazon @ 549 per litre.

Always keep an eye for a deal and pick up some stock when available.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
My three free services are over, bike has 16k odo and i never left my bike alone during servicing. The last 3rd servicing, did it myself, i just let the mechanic see if everything was ok. My brake pads are still good. I do most of the service work myself, like oil change, air filter, last time i did the coolant replacement, i do the chain myself, i even help my friends. thats me 😂😂 working on my friends bike, removing parts.😝 practice diy (do it yourself) you will know your bike more.Originally posted by AngadV View PostI wanted to be there too, but I have exams and such and I wasn't able to. I have been mostly getting it lubed at SVC every 800-900 kms generally.
I did tell them I want my old parts back, which isn't really any verification as they could give me any old part. I guess I'll just avoid this SVC in future. Any other way I might possible be able to verify this?
Thanks!

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Your sprocket looks fine.Originally posted by AngadV View PostYeah you're right, I've had it for 10 months now, and learnt a lot more.
I got back the parts from the SVC, and as far as I'm aware, the chain sprocket teeth should be worn out, which doesn't seem to be the case here. Posting detailed pics, if that is indeed the case where this was unnecessarily changed, while I can't do anything with the SVC, I'll at least write a strong mail to KTM and make sure that some action is taken (hopefully :P)
Please do advise. Also, if pics of the chain are needed, do let me know ASAP
Thanks a lot!
P.S. DO NOT quote the entire picture set. And please correct simple spelling mistakes, especially for one liners, it helps forum maintain decorum.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
You just have to take it out and firmly and correctly fit it, doesn't rattle after that. Got it done when I had given it to the SVCOriginally posted by sheru5 View PostLast time went for an offroad and now the battery cover has started rattling 😬😬, cant seem to find a solution, maybe will have to stuff something in between and tape it temporarily.😕

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Hi,Originally posted by SpeedyKol View Post300v and 7100 on amazon lightning deals. Grab it now!!!
Successfully grabbed 2 cans of Motul 7100 at 549 and Motul 300v at 787 each. Even Shell Fully Synthetic is available at discounted prices.
Is 300v allowed for the RC 390? I read somewhere it voids the warranty, so just wanted to check that once.
Also just to clarify, is it the 15w50 or 10w40 which is applicable?
Similarly, for 7100 4t, should I get (if 300v isn't applicable) 10w50 or 20w50?
I'm guessing 300v is better, any clarifications?
Thanks!

Some users reported engine oil leak due to 300v on duke 390, so avoid it.Originally posted by AngadV View PostHi,

For RC go with 7100 with 10W50 as its being recommended and used @SVC.
