Woke up today morning and switched on the bike to see "high coolant temperature" warning for no reason. Probably the battery, wiring or the sensor got busted. Any of you guys faced similar issues?.

most likely a faulty coolant temp sensor. did it go off eventually or are stuck with a bike that does not start due to this warning ?
if you know where the temp sensor is located (it's under the throttle body area and a blue plug iirc), try to unplug the connector and put it back.
And head to the svc and also have them connect their diag tool and check for any error codes and fix accordingly.

Back from a 2000 km trip
Unfortunately I couldn't go to Gurudongmar lake, sikkim as a friend of mine was feeling sick just 35 kms before gurudongmar.
Post gangtok, sikkim there were literally no roads and were filled with mud as it was raining.
But the bike performed very well even in those conditions.

So I was doing sometime and did this :

And the good thing is a somehow noticed this :

                      Crack in air filter box.
Just went to the service centre around 5:30 and the manager said to come to Monday and get it fixed free of cost.

                      I'm mentioning this because :
                      1. Few people do not pay attention and might be running on a crack box. Check your bikes. (If you do not know how to, I'll add a video tomorrow on how to check this. Wait till then, do not panic)

                      2. People say they got charged for labour, thanks to my awesome SVC. He clearly said "Sir, why would you pay a penny."

                      3. If you're getting it changed. Try getting a 2016 manufactured part as a replacement. Just got to know the 2016 one is a better make than 2014 and 2015.

When I see few poor people getting fooled by their bad svc's I get more humble & polite for the people at my svc.
They are always ready to help with whatever best is possible. ✌️️

Which service centre I'm flaunting ?

I had a cracked air filter box too, since my bike's warrenty is long gone and crack being minor I Sealed it up using araldite.

Gave the bike a much needed wash and wax.

Coolant overflow pipe snapped. Can I still ride the bike while I await a new coolant bottle. Cheers!

Yes, you can ride for as long as you want with it broken.
Happened to a couple of other folks too in the past.
