The bike has not yet completed 1 year.
What to do guys and can I get it replaced it under warranty?
Probably a severed solder inside the switch unit. Your best bet would be to replace the entire ignition unit. Though they can be tinkered at local shops, they can open and see if there is solder that has been severed, good auto electronic repair shops do this. Though I'd suggest you replace the unit for peace of mind...

I own a 2016 ktm rc 390. I've completed close to 11k kms and the bike is a year old. I'd taken my bike to a Ktm service centre for my bike's 3rd service, it was found out that the engine's head gasket was leaking engine oil. This part was replaced along with all the engine packing gaskets. Later when I got the bike back after 3 days and riding back home I got the low oil pressure warning so I went back to Ktm and replaced the oil filter and added some more engine oil. The bike was working fine, the very next day I decided to go on a weekend ride. After entering the national highway I noticed that my bike was refusing to go above 125 kmph and there was major drop in power, the low oil pressure warning came up again so I had to ride back home. I have no idea what the problem is.
Can you guys help me out.
    Cheers,
    Ady
What's imperative is to check your engine oil level, secondly, observe if there is any leak or any weep throughout the engine, especially the oil filter area. Low oil pressure can mean a lot of things, low oil, faulty oil pressure sensor, clogged oil filter. We either have a low oil or we have a faulty sensor. Check your engine oil level, check your engine again thoroughly for any leaks near the oil filter area. If you haven't changed your engine oil for more than 3k+ kms now is the right time to change the engine oil. Don't top up. Also, to make sure there is sufficient oil, drain the oil from the engine, that should give you an idea as to how much oil we have. If it's less than 1.2 liters we have very oil level. Replace oil and oil filter and observe. Hope it helps.

    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END

Looks good mate I've wrapped my bike too. For the front windscreen I tinted the middle portion so that it doesn't affect visibility when fully ducked in. As for the two sides I gave a asymmetric design, bikes name (wrath) on one side and a normal design on the other. Click image for larger version

Looks good. Any challenges faced while tinting it? I thought about doing that in a different colour but kind of couldn't get the tint and time to search for it.

Hey VJ thanks for the suggestions, the engine oil was changed after the engine packing was changed after which the bike has run only 150 kms. I did find the engine oil to be low so I asked him to top up some more. I replaced the oil at that time as well, I've checked the engine completely for leaks. There's no leakage, the Ktm service advisor says that maybe the two small holes or jets or something (he wasn't very sure about the term) in the engine head near the DOHC setup may be blocked. I've told them that all these issues started after I got my bike serviced here so if they can't fix this issue I'll be sending Ktm a email and these guys should get me a new engine under warranty.
          Cheers,
          Ady

The only issue was that you can't use the normal tints that are used for car windows. You gotta use the one that is used for the tail lights and headlamps to give it a darker or smoked look.

When a jet is blocked it can cause high oil pressure. The reason your head mechanic said a blocked internal oil passage can be a valid reason, as the oil pressure sensor is located at the head, meaning less than recommended oil flow to the head would throw LOP on the console. Faulty oil pump too can cause low oil pressure.

How much does the chain sprocket set normally last?
My Mechanic said that mine needs to be changed as the sprocket is "jumping".
My bike has almost done 7k kms till now. Does it last so less? And how much would a new one cost?

7k is too little a milege to change chain and sprockets. Usually you don't have to change for 20k KMS. Visually inspect sprocket wear. Check for assymetrical teeth wear and hooking. Look for photos on Google. You'll get the idea. To check chain is in good health, adjust your chain to the right slack and check if the play in your chain is the same for various parts of the chain. Also, pull the chain directly back at the rear sprocket. If it leaves the sprocket too much, you have stretched chain.

Usually svc tries to rip you off by claiming that you need to change the chain and sprockets. Don't fall for it.

                    Hope this helps.

Hello people. Need to replace my rear tyre. What is your opinion on the H and W rated Metz. I would like to hit the track every now and then and do not want to compromise on grip levels. Now, since only the speed rating is different, both the tyres should provide identical grip levels. However, I have been hearing that the H rated Metz offers lower grip levels than the W rated one. Can anyone offer some insight?

It wasn't the svc. It is a trusted mechanic. Was there to lube the chain and he said it's jumping, the wheel and sprocket tended to rotate with some eccentricity. He said that it should be changed and is kinda good for some 1-2k kms only.

Yes you should get the W rated metzelers m5 for a better grip. Have experienced this myself that the H rated tyres have lesser grip.

Post a photo. The gurus here may be able to pass some judgement on your sprokets.

How would you compare the Michelin pilot street and metzeler m5 h rated tyres? Do these tyres have identical grip levels?

I have experienced michelin on a duke not on the rc. It has good grip in the dry (not better than metz but better than mrfs). I find it to be better than the metz in the wet though.
