Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Just regular service on the RC, if you check my old posts in the duke 200 thread you will find the reworked valves for the front. They were tuned for high speed touring.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View Post

The price of the adjustable lever if my memory serves me correctly is approx 185.Originally posted by Minisoda View PostHey guys, how much do the new brake and clutch levers cost? The levers which come standard on the '17 RC390 not the powerparts ones. Thanks.

The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

They are remapping experts.
They are offering remap for our stock ECU and claiming an increase of 6BHP on stock or they can do depending on your need. [emoji55]
Why not got for that?Last edited by Sird; 07-29-2017, 08:04 AM.First I was Scared But then We Made a Deal

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
I have heard of Code6 and I did work with them for the Duke 390. The issue with a remap/ Ecu chipping is that you are stuck with a static map and it doesn't adapt so well to changes.Originally posted by Sird View PostI'm no expert. But have you heard of Code6?

For someone like me who is constantly upgrading, a piggyback makes more sense. The new Powertronics unit is on par with the PCV and Bazzazz units sold for almost $100 more
Also 6bhp on a stock configuration seems highly unlikely, a 3-4 bhp bump seems more realistic and reasonable

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Hey guys,
Since yesterday the ignition switch is giving me problem. Even if I tap on the switch lightly when the ignition is on it cuts off when it is in "on" state.
Took it to the nearest SVC and without even checking they said it had to be replaced with new one which costs 800 bucks.
The bike has not yet completed 1 year.
What to do guys and can I get it replaced it under warranty?

KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Hi ,
I own a 2016 ktm rc 390. I've completed close to 11k kms and the bike is a year old. I'd taken my bike to a Ktm service centre for my bike's 3rd service, it was found out that the engine's head gasket was leaking engine oil. This part was replaced along with all the engine packing gaskets. Later when I got the bike back after 3 days and riding back home I got the low oil pressure warning so I went back to Ktm and replaced the oil filter and added some more engine oil. The bike was working fine, the very next day I decided to go on a weekend ride. After entering the national highway I noticed that my bike was refusing to go above 125 kmph and there was major drop in power, the low oil pressure warning came up again so I had to ride back home. I have no idea what the problem is.
Can you guys help me out.
Cheers,
