    update: issue resolved.
There is a software update for RC 390 2017. I got it done a few days back and happy to report that the avg fuel economy reading and random reboot issue of my speedo got resolved. Even after a small ride of 4km (10 mins) from petrol station I am getting the avg fuel reading, which was not coming earlier.
The service mgr could not details out what bugs have been resolved. I got it done in Noida Sector 2 workshop. You guys can check with your service personnel for the same. Its a 15 min job.

Thanks for the support that I got from all and replies for this issue.

    Ride safe and responsibly.

Looks like I need to drop down Noida svc. Here in Gurgaon they are denying any such change. Till now, that is the only bug in the motorcycle(which isn't much bothering)

On a side note. The KTM service center in Hyderabad told me that this could not be fixed and I would have to buy the entire braking system for the front. Even after I told them to order only the caliper, they tried to convince me that the braking system comes as a kit and not individual parts. It was only after I asked to see the parts list and pointed out the individual part numbers, that they agreed to place an order but asked me to wait 15 days. The entire ordeal left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be going back to collect the ordered parts. On the bright side though I learned how to service and overhaul my calipers.
Excellent information. I think, the degraded fluid or the goop that came out of the caliper was behind the caliper piston that caused the trouble. Good tip!

Leak location - Right side of bike, near air filter box.
Your airbox is clearly cracked at the edge, plus the weep and muck that you see around the nipple and the hose is because of that. Get the airbox replaced. This has been an inherent issue with the Duke series. The airbox does crack at the joint, due to vibrations.

          Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

            Upgrade update: Hatsumi :KTM RC390

Recently procured and installed precut tank grips from FactoryEFX, for the surface area they cover the grip they provide is pretty exceptional.

I was asked not to go with the gripper black because of reported issues with it eating through leather on prolonged usage, so I went with the medium grip clear.

At a little over $30 inclusive of shipping , this is a much cheaper option than Stompgrip or Techspec Snakeskins. I feel the look is much more subtle. I do have to mention though that the clear is much less visible on a painted surface. We installed the same on the Ninja 250 and could barely make out the strips.

The roll comes with 30 strips and we only used 8 on the RC, 4 on either side. The install was as per the instructions and we left a little over an inch between each strip.

We were almost immediately able to make out the difference and the ease with which we could grip the tank without slipping off. Will post further updates after the track day.

The precut stickers were a sample sent to me by the FactoryEFX guys to test out. You can pick up the sheet from either Revzilla or Motorcycle Superstore and cut it down to whatever size you want.

                    Hey guys,
Yesterday I got into an accident. And the bike fell to the left side...the clutch lever got bent. The thing is I want it replaced as if I'm using gloves it's hard to operate. So either ways I have to replace, I wanted to know if I can put the 2017 RC/Duke adjustable levers to this.
                    Thank you.
                    Ride safe.

So today I did around 120 kms without taking any stop and the digital meter started showing me high coolant temperature and engine warning light was up. Can't the bike handle even 120 odd kms?

                        Following issues are possible:

                        • Low coolant level
                        • Radiator fan not working or not running at its full speed.
                        • Faulty thermostat.

                          Okay.
Ruling out the possiblity of low coolant temp as I checked the coolant level before the trip and it was alright. It could be fan not running at its full speed as when I took a 15 mins breather, everything went back to normal. But suddenly why would fan become lazy?

I would suggest you to take bike in little bit of traffic, then observe how radiator fan is working, if engine stalls and high coolant temperature warning comes up then head to svc, connect the diagnostic tool and observe the temperature.

The bike can do more than 500 kms without breaking a sweat. Since you have a high coolant temp notification. Start off visually by inspecting the coolant reservoir when the engine is hot, if the coolant level is fine, (between the low and high marks) secondly check the radiator fan. The fan would have already started kicking in before the high temperature read-out, if you don't hear the fan running, we have a faulty fan. Thirdly, if both these are fine, check the thermostat, if we have a faulty thermostat the coolant isn't being circulated as it's supposed to.
