    Hey VJ,

This is mostly for the track so I don't really see the necessity of an rear brake upgrade because we barely use it. Also the stock single pot caliper is more than sufficient to lock the rear without the ABS.

I will be looking at a Galfer floating disc upgrade in the front and maybe Brembo M50 monobloc caliper for the front once I save up some more.

I posted some pictures of the MC and the rearsets in the previous post.

Next upgrade is the front suspension and a custom map

Very assuring. Do keep your upgrades posted, duly and photos when and were feasible, would come in handy for many here.

      Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

      THE END

        Hey there!

How much did the rear set cost and where did you get it from?

Change to a bigger rotor that will improve braking by a bit.

BTW if you dont mind me asking why did you took out the powertronic? Any issue?

Has anyone tried putting the MY17 RC390's adjustable Brake lever. I inquired at the service center and was told that the adjustable brake lever cannot be bought alone. It comes along with the whole master cylinder kit and would cost 1500-1800 bucks which sounds insane and illogical especially when the clutch lever costs 350 buck approx.
Can anyone clear this out by asking your Service Center?

They fit directly on and feel of pretty good quality, please note that this doesn't include the master cylinder. The prices you have quoted are only for the adjustable levers.

The rearsets are for about $400 on the website but if can find a Hotbodies Racing reseller, you can get them for much cheaper. I got these shipped from Malaysia and costed me a little over $200 including the shipping.

The bigger discs are definitely an upgrade if you aren't going in for an after market master cylinder. I however didn't like the feel or the bite of the stock master cylinder which is why I changed to the Brembos.

You might want to upgrade the caliper as well since the MY2017 have larger pistons.

The piggy back was good for sometime but the fueling was all over the place, I either ended up with fouled plugs or with plugs that looked like they had seen a ghost, nothing in the middle.

Not sure if this has to do with the stock O2 sensor being unable to cope or if is something else. The fueling either ran rich or super lean to an extent where I was risking blowing up my engine.

After several custom maps that didn't solve the fueling issues, I removed it. Waiting for a new map from the guys at Powertronic. If the issue remains unresolved we will need to get the bike on a dyno to figure out the ECU and fuel map.

Yo are using RCS19 right? Do you feel any issues, because I was reading somewhere and they said that as rcs 19 as it is made for twin disc setup it leads to fading. I am asking because I am getting good deal on a used rcs 19 but everywhere I read it is said that rvs15 is better, your comments would and suggestion would be valuable for me.

P.S. DO NOT quote the entire picture set. Remove all pictures before quoting.

The RCS19 is overkill, you can get the single banjo bolt, or as they call it supermoto setup. The feed back at 19x18 is firm and progressive, haven't had any fade but that could also be the fluid I am using. The 19x20 feels firm but the feedback is wooden.

The RCS15 is a better choice though because it won't overwhelm the ABS unit like the RCS19. The only issue I have faced with the RCS19 is in emergency stops in traffic where the ABS kicks in way too early and because of which the front hops which isn't a nice feeling. On the track thought it works fine.

Thanks for quick reply man. Great help. I will have to try out someone's bike with this setup before making any decision. Thanks

Hello everyone. I got the original Akrapovic exhaust installed on my RC. But I'm facing one problem : I am not able to remove the Db killer in there. I tried a drill 3-4 times but it didn't work. Anyone having any ideas?

If it is anything like the other Akrapovic end cans then you should have got a special tool to remove the screw holding the baffle, it's usually similar to a tamper proof torx bolt. So you will need the correct sized hollow torx bit to remove it.

I've not got any tool in the kit. May I know what tool you're talking about? It seems like there is an Allen key screw but can't get it out as it's tamper proof.

You can use a vice go slowly remove the bolt, replace it with a regular Allen bolt, I think it's a size 6 if I remember correctly
