Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
If you are under warranty period, I'd suggest you refrain from doing any mods, especially to the engine itself or the air intake system. Warranty can and will be void if deemed applicable. Also, just the airfilter alone isn't going to boost any power output. Though you'd get a slightly improved induction noise, the power delivery if any is very minimal to notice. FFAF do tend to have redueced filtration when compared to OE, so that's a minus.Originally posted by Syed Mustafa View PostHii guys hope u all r are fine i wanted to change the air filter of my motorbike. I wanted to know if i will install K&N Air filter will it have any effect on the warranty of my motorbike? And also should i buy K&N high performance air filter?
Cheers!

Are they a direct fit to our rims?

Got it for like 9750/-Originally posted by mohdatif1 View PostI would like to know for how much did you buy the Benelli TNT 600i floating disc rotor?

No it is not a direct fit, the holes do match but the rotor is not flat like the oem one.
So to install the benelli's rotor you have to take out the rim and put it on a lathe and shave off like 5mm from the hub where the rotor is bolted.

Apart from shaving 5mm of the rims, we also need to add another washer and put a larger size bolt for the calipers?Originally posted by Rahul.g View PostGot it for like 9750/-

I also want to know how do the Continental Gt brake master cylinder perform, like the brake feel and the feedback from brakes.

You will need a longer spacer and a longer boltOriginally posted by mohdatif1 View PostApart from shaving 5mm of the rims, we also need to add another washer and put a larger size bolt for the calipers?

The MC performs very good, still lacks a bit of feel but I guess you can solve that with better pads.

I am already using EBC brake pads.Originally posted by Rahul.g View PostYou will need a longer spacer and a longer bolt

I am awaiting the KTM sintered pads which come in the 2017 RC390 models. I just want to compare them to the EBC brake pads.

Just changing the mc will increase stopping power by a lotLast edited by Rahul.g; 05-19-2017, 12:09 AM.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Just changing the air filter will make the engine run lean and that is not a good thing.Originally posted by Syed Mustafa View PostHii guys hope u all r are fine i wanted to change the air filter of my motorbike. If you plan on installing a piggyback ecu then you can install a performance air filter along with the ecu.

Update:Originally posted by bikersdream View PostSo on weekend drive someone messed with radiator.
Soon coolant started leaking through radiator.
Looks like someone hitted with wood or stone purposefully at 2 places.
Barely able to drive 30 kms with 4 stops due to high coolant temperature and bike shutting down.
I think will need to replace whole radiator :-(
Anyone knows radiator cost?
Really some people are not happy if they see such a beautiful bike with you. Always keep it parked safe guys.
Ended with replacing radiator and coolant. Costed 3500 including labor and radiator+coolant.
One observation is that bike is running less hot and fan is kicking less often compared to earlier. I think its due to coolant change which was due for replacement as it wasn't changed in last 2 years.
After 100kms running, observed couple of coolant droplets at rear brake pedals and surprised how they reached there?
For now cleaned bike and Will keep eye on it.

Just a question, was the cost of 3500 alone for the radiator and with the radiator and fan assembly?Originally posted by bikersdream View PostUpdate:
