Guys, would need help in verifying the cost of my accident and insurance cover. So the parts need to be replaced are
      1. left handlebar(bent)
      2. left rearset
      3. front disk (now bent). Also might exclude this and opt for upgrade to 320mm discs from 2017 model and pay out of my own pocket
      4. lower triple clamp(the one that restricts steering angle in either direction using metal blocks
      5. the blipper & hi/lo switch(hi/lo siwtch replacement is debatable) for headlamp on left handlebar
      6. The windshield (maybe). the left side has very minor damage on the edges which I think could be covered up by blacking out the side panels of windshield. So not really looking at replacing this. But please let me know where I could get decent decal/ black out the side panels of windshield in NCR region.
      7. The outside cover of headlamp unit which cover the led strips. The headlamp itself is fine.

      Thanks!

      P.S
Today, I drove all the way to Noida sector 2 at 20-30 km/h due to abrupt front brake behavior(thanks to bent disc and also lever acting funny) only to find it shifted to Noida sec-63 due to Bajaj/Kawa split etc.. Put my head down and went there cos I wanted to get her fixed up ASAP. Gruelling!!!

I installed them myself. Open the front frame? What do you mean? I did not drill or cut the frame. There are brackets that hold onto the frame to which the sliders attach.
I did remove the fairings to get it done.

Thanx a lot. That's what i wanted to confirm whether the fairing needs to be removed and i had a doubt if frame sliders are of any use but thru your pic seems helpful.

Just on a lighter note. Throwback to my last highway ride. Can't wait to get back to the highways.

So you can safely assume tank capacity is 9.5+ liter.
Reserve is 1.5 liters bro. That means an actual tank capacity of 9 liters. .5 liter still missing.

Will just have to empty the tank and fill it upto the brim to find out.

Please suggest where to fit these individually so as to make it look like a DRL.

Yes it is covered under warranty (at the max you might have to pay just for the fork oil). The labor and the fork oil seal kit is 'free'.
I've had it fixed under warranty on my d200 and just had to pay for the fork oil since they told me that bajaj doesn't give 'oil' under warranty.. I did not want to argue with them since it helps maintaining a good rapport.. I was happy i got the fork seal and labor free and the oil just cost me less than 200rs (they used the bajaj fork oil which cost half as much as the ktm branded one.. and i assume the bajaj fork oil made by HP is a 15W oil while ktm branded one is a 5W oil.. the manual recommends a 5w oil).

By reserve I assume you mean the instant the 'low fuel level' warning pops up. If so, you have around 2 litres at that moment and not 1.5
Tank capacities are approx and real time capacity will be slightly more than what is mentioned (especially since most folks fill to the brim and not till the filler neck/the bar inside the tank)

Any confirmation if the cone-seat is covered under warranty ?

There is a slight squeaky noise when moving the handle towards right side and the famous Kat-Kat sound when applying front brakes. Also feels like the cone-set is moving. (All those symptoms of cone set issue)

Had a same issue while dropping at low speeds, tighten it bro it will be fixed . As I remember it's not covered under warranty.

                        Thanks for confirming.

I don't think it's a loose issue. My bike is around 19k km user hard riding. Last time I visited svc guy said Cone-Set need balls replacement.

my cousin confirmed that he bumped big path hole 2 days before very hard .

So Got it fixed from my pocket. Costed 1050 rs.
205 for fork oil, ~350 for oil seal kit including dust cap, 400 for labor, rest taxes.

Earlier i had replaced air filter box, engine oil leaks, gasket near valve cover under warranty free and had good rappo with svc so as you said didn't want to argue as amount is less. If amount was more then i would have forced for warranty.

                              Bajaj fork oil is 10w.
