Any one knows part number of air filter box?
What could be price?
Air filter box costs in the range of 2000 to 2500 rupees. If you're under warranty try opting for a replacement under warranty.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
Hey guy's.
I just wanted to know the procedure for the front number plate bracket removal.
If it's already there in this thread please do share that link.
Thank you and happy riding!

Hey guys, just needed a few tips. I'll be shortly giving my bike for 4th service, i.e. One year service, with ODO roughly on 7.9k Kms.
This time I intend to stick around the whole service and get things checked on my own, as I've often been scammed on replacement of all sorts of parts, and this time I'm trying not to.
If anyone could just give me an overview of the main parts that have to be checked, as well as the service routine, I would really appreciate it.
As far as I'm aware it would involve an oil change- 1.5L, I've got Motul 300v already purchased, will be taking that.
What other parts need to be changed?
I plan on getting air filter box, and head gasket checked, any other suggestions?

Apart from engine oil, all the filters are replaced(these come in a box as a periodic service kit). Spark plug not needed at every service, it easily lasts at-least 12k km and is not a compulsory replacement every service (which some svc will tell you is)
And then chain adjustment and the water wash.
These are a few things that you can just inspect/clean and mostly don't need any attention:
1. Remove the front and rear brake pads and have them rub it down a bit on sand paper.
2. Remove front sprocket cover(plastic part), clean out the gunk that accumulates around that area. Lube and Adjust chain(if needed.)
3. Check brake and coolant level.. they usually don't need any attention but a quick check should do. Same with clutch and throttle free play
4. Before you take delivery, ask them to connect the diag tool and check, then finally clear dtc. After they clear dtc/memory, start the bike and let it idle for 10 minutes. If you don't idle it and start riding immediately, you will find that the bike hesitates and shuts off when you release the clutch or decelerate/slow down by closing throttle completely at times for the first few minutes of riding (this is normal)
If you do not have any specific issues, it's better to not let them touch any other parts.
As for checking head gasket, you can check the drained oil for its color.. if it has any hint of grey then there might be a problem with the head gasket. don't expect to remove the head to simply check for head gasket, just an inspection of oil and coolant level will give you an idea.
If your bike has done less than 5000km since the previous service, take the old air filter and keep it as a spare. same with spark plug in case you replace it.
169 on the speedo and .....
No gloves
No rear view mirrors
No windscreen
Probably not the most shining example for the more new and inexperienced riders on the forum
At least you had your drls and main beam on
No glove because my leather gloves are in weird shape now & every time I use them now they cause numbness in few fingers, and the control on bike is not perfect.
In short, the gloves might have caused something bad. That's why no gloves here.
Front fairing was removed for some tests and so are the mirrors.
I'm completely aware of the safety and believe me this was done completely in control. Thanks for pointing out tho.

Can someone please tell me how to disassemble the projectors from the headlight assembly. I have already removed the side fairings, the transparent front fairings and the black one below it. I can see 4 rivet like things holding the projector in place. But not sure how to remove it.
Yesterday after coming from Office I saw white smoke coming from the exhaust catalyst .. later I found engine oil dripping from the Air filter box. I have given the bike to A.S.S today but i am wondering how engine oil can get into the Air box.
I have seen few post which complains about cracked air filter box and slush been found in it due to the engine oil.
Do anyone has any idea how the engine oil can get into Air Filter box?

a blocked crank case vent can cause this to happen or in some cases over filled engine oil and worse cases blow by due to a poor piston/ring seal.
since you mention smoke from exhaust, i wouldn't be surprised if it was the worse case.
Let them check it and lets know what they have to say. First time maybe clean everything and put it back together with fresh engine oil and observe for a couple of days.
