Hey folks, so the things is i will be getting my first bike in some days and was very curious to know how to run it in! As there are two ways and I am not sure if the manual Wala run in always better! So like, can you post your personal experience(like running in hard or easy and their respective outcome)

Well they removed it from the new bikes to prevent them from getting scratched
Well I fixed them on my bike and they looked different but good
View point only a lil better than the old ones no drastic improvement but yea it's better than looking at your arms all the time

They're fine.Originally posted by DoubleagentZ View Post

The do feel a bit cheaply made compared to the old ones
But yes visibility is much better than before, the mirrors are wide at the right spot, on the earlier model the wide part was blocked by arms but these news mirrors solves that problem.
The new ones look like crap but hey atleast they do their job.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Hey guys, had a little question; today I dropped my bike (some idiot biker tried to overtake from the opposite side- oncoming traffic- so swerved to avoid him; I didn't hit anyone, but I braked hard, which led to the bike being overbalanced and fell on its left side). The gear pedal is a little bent; same for the clutch, but both are working properly, so would it be okay to wait till next service in 3 weeks?
The real issue was that after the fall, for 7-8 minutes, whenever I tried, the bike would not start, it just kept cranking, but didn't start. After approximately 10 mins, I turned off the bike(kill switch) and turned it back on, after which the bike started immediately. Rode around 15km after that, bike is normal. Once, while riding afterwards, at the signal, when I started the bike, it just turned off on its own, but had no issues after that. Is there anything to worry about the starting issue?
Thanks!

Whenever bike stalls or abruptly stopped, always switch off and then swithc ON the key and Bike should start in first attempt in that case.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
The bank angle sensor on the bike cuts of fuel when the bike tilts over to a certain degree. I've seen people frantically cranking after a fall or crash, where the bike simply would refuse to start. Turn the ignition key off and turn on and then crank, it should crank it two cranks max, this resets the sensors calibration and they crank, mostly the crank position sensor. To keep it short, if you fall and the bike turns off, don't keep cranking, it would take light years to crank.Originally posted by AngadV View PostHey guys, had a little question; today I dropped my bike (some idiot biker tried to overtake from the opposite side- oncoming traffic- so swerved to avoid him; I didn't hit anyone, but I braked hard, which led to the bike being overbalanced and fell on its left side). Turn the ignition KEY off for a few secs (not the kill switch) and turn it on, she would be ready to to race in a crank or two, as normal.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END
