Formula 1 polish worked well for plastic areas but what can we use on matt areas like Rear side of front mudguard, york, tyre hugger, mirror black body for shining?

I tried applying formula 1 of them but after drying up its looking very bad.

don't apply regular polish/wax on plastic parts. for plastics you could use one of those car dashboard specific polish products for plastics.
always read and follow instructions on the bottle.

your right, they used to cost under 300 bucks.. looks like price (and quality) has gone up and now they sell only the black one .. just got an update from Ajay Vishwanath
the silver one on the duke cost under 300 bucks, and seems they dont sell that silver one anymore (at least according the the svc ajay checked with)

Hello! .. Does anyone know if I can fit a Duke 200front sprocket on my Rc390? Im planning on lowering the gearing of my bike, because my top end is mostly unused, 6th gear is anyway too long, and i can manage with a bit more accelerarion having spend more than a year with the bike now.
So question is can I? Duke 200has a 14T, whereas RC390 is 15T ....
Also flirting with the idea of a 13T front sprocket but not sure how it will be, and if an apache front sprocket or some other 13T sprocket will fit or not ....
Anyone who has done this or knows will be of help to me. Thanks! .

you probably cant. iirc the dimensions of the 390 front sprocket are different from the 200's.
its not just the no. of teeth but other dimensions such as the inner dia etc..
here is comparison between the two (taken from a third party sprocket manufacturer, JT sprockets), Left one is the 200, right one 390.

Here is the estimate given by the workshop. Claimed insurance for the whopping bill. Unfortunately I don't have a zero depreciation insurance, hence only 50% payout for plastic parts and 100% for other parts. Nevertheless, getting all parts replaced except the tank as there was zero damage on that. Only some additional sticker on the tank got scrubbed off. Will get the job done on saturday.
Meanwhile, I had bought a P200NS tank pad for my RC. Everytime I try to fit it, it comes off as the sticker doesn't stick well with the tank surface.

I would like to change the allen bolts to some other colour and also fit frame sliders. Some body graphics would also look nice. Any suggestions are welcome.

660 for a rear brake pedal, that's really news. You can try color anodized screws, but i would suggest over time, cheap screws tend to chip/flake their baked colors. Just my suggestion would be to stick with stock chrome, a good looking chrome fastening set is more a looker than any colored fasteners, I always say.

Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

THE END

600 is really too much. Probably they are moulding it with precious metals nowadays. I anyways had been thinking of chrome only. Other colours would definitely fade. Where do i find chrome bolts?

yup, the prices have more than doubled for the brake lever (not yet checked for the gear lever). i remember getting the brake lever for my d200 for around 250rs (it's the same across the ktm's, just a color difference on the rc's)
i had Ajay Vishwanath check out the price of the rc lever since i was in a mood to swap to black levers, and i was shocked when i heard their price! they told him the old part has been discontinued and this new one is better quality and has a new part no.
I'll have to check if the price of the duke levers has also been jacked up (the silver one). It looks like the earlier ones used to snap off and the current ones bend a lot more before snapping off
Prices jacked up for the levers.. i hope this inflation doesn't hit other common consumables

i have no idea if anyone in India makes custom aftermarket sprockets that are to spec and reliable. as you see in the pics i posted, its not just the no. of teeth that matter but also the measurements and finally the quality.
I tried asking a friend from the UK to get me the JT sprocket (15T) for my D200, but unfortunately they said they won't ship if value is less than 30 pounds (even though he offered to pay for shipping)!! I had no use of the rear or any other part from them, so just chucked the idea since time was less (he was travelling in a couple of days).
I am still wondering if i should get the 15T and a stock rear 42T from JT for my D200 (that friends brother might be traveling from the UK sometime in July/Aug).. maybe we could combine our order.. but unfortunately i do not see custom sprockets for the 390's on JT !!

Let me also see if I can find one for 390 ...if yes would definitely be in for a combined order ..

Well they have definitely changed the casting process or metal because last time my bike fell down at standstill, the lever bent instead of breaking like in dukes.

Same here. Mine also bent instead of breaking into two. That surely helped a lot though.

Hey guys, was looking for some padding on the seat, but I don't want any add on like Ride on Air, it would be infinitely better if I could change to seat itself, or make some modification to the current seat instead of putting something on top of it, like this (but not so expensive)

Also I was looking for padded handlebar grips too. Is anyone using it, or knows some good quality ones? By handlebar grips, I'm referring to this stuff

I'm not looking for something too expensive, as I'm already getting the slipper clutch retrofitted at my next service(college budget)
Thanks!

Hey! Friends ... how to get rid of the screeching sound from the front brake ??? The svc guys just open it and rub the brake pads but it appears again from the next day . It's just irritating . The reason is dust particles but any permanent solution to it ??
