Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Thanks all for the valuable input.
Actually my bike has been through 2nd service recently.
About riding : I'm not w same rider. [emoji23]
Good high RPM's, power wheelies and what not every now & then.
But I had to ask this because of the confusion I got after speaking at service centre.
Earlier in my Pulsar220 I was changing motul 5100 at each 2200-2500 because of my riding style.
So I guess I have to maintain this in RC390 too.
From now I'll change the oil at around 4200-4500 internals.First I was Scared But then We Made a Deal

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
The air filter comes with 2 years warranty. Get it changed. I got my done and the company wont charge u a penny l. Except the long waiting period for d service centres to arrange 1. Biggest prob with KTM services. They just dont have spared available ne time [emoji35]

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
You must have put 7100 10w40 because that's what is generally available. Try 10w50. It gives me the same performance as esther core and is cheaper. The viscosity difference from 10w40 to 10w50 makes a very noticeable change. I tried 10w40 once too. Wasn't impressed at all. Right now testing how long does it last compared to 300V.Originally posted by Rahul.g View PostI used 7100 after 300v but didnt like it.
Motor performed much better with 300v."Verso l'infinito e oltre"

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
To all Guys staying in NCR, I am currently staying in Noida(on rent) and am looking to purchase rc390 soon. But I find Noida prices a bit on the higher side- 2.45l vs delhi/ Gurgaon where its available for 2.33/2.37l. I want to get a Delhi number also since I am told it will have better resale value. Speaking to the CP KTM folks they mentioned a rent agreement at a friends'/ relatives Delhi address would do. But I wanted to check with the community here if anyone else has done similar purchase.
Can anyone suggest what could be done to get a Delhi/Gurgaon-registered RC390?
Thanks,
Sunil.Last edited by Rattletop; 07-06-2016, 11:55 AM.sigpic

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
What they have suggested is right. This is the only way if you want delhi registration and you have no id proof of delhi. The difference in prices is due to state taxes.Originally posted by Rattletop View PostTo all Guys staying in NCR, I am currently staying in Noida(on rent) and am looking to purchase rc390 soon. I wish I could share my bike's story here but that won't be safe [emoji23]Originally posted by Rattletop View PostTo all Guys staying in NCR, I am currently staying in Noida(on rent) and am looking to purchase rc390 soon. For your query, yes they are right.
You will have to provide a rent agreement for the state you want registration from. Be it Delhi, Haryana or UP.
Resale value is not affected within NCR registration, unless someone is obsessed with DL or UP.First I was Scared But then We Made a Deal
