Hey guys. A member and fellow rider just lost his life 2 days back. A very promising track racer, motovlogger and a nice person what I could make out from his videos.
dannyR15 aka Gypsy Danger is no more.

Ride and rest in peace brother. Our condolences to your family man. You were too young to go like that in road accident man.

Ride safe my brothers, anticipate every obstacle, lane changing vehicles, abrupt cross roads, and everything that just seems dangerous on our bad roads. Remember, use our bike's acceleration to get out of tight spots. As bikers it is always our fault if we meet with an accident, we must realise biking is potentially dangerous and therefore must anticipate the worst of possibilities on roads.

How did this happen?

• stSeriously no other options available in market also.

Since I wanted to have the bike in home town registration, I got it booked at Cochin Dealership.
Finally after 3 months of waiting and frequent follow up, finally got the call from Cochin. Bike is dispatched from Pune and will be delivered in a week.
Luckily my home trip was made accordingly and reached home a day before the delivery. Transferred all the cash online to avoid the mental depression of giving away a Quarter million Indian rupees.

Took the delivery on 29thstst1. Seat felt to be stiff and is definitely not comfortable for long rides
2.3. 4. Fuel range is only around 250kms. 350kms to 400 would have been ideal for long touring.
1stst day I went beyond the target and stopped at Hubly at8.30pm in 14 hours and 30 mins. That is more than 1000kms from my home where I started at 6am.
2nd
Ownership experiences
rd notch is slightly hard if riding alone. If the suspension is set to 0thst bar goes off. For another 90kms then only the 2ndSt issue happened Just within 100kms of drive after delivery. A slight crack was observed on the RH side mirror. Suspecting excessive vibration or fitment fault has created the crack. No indication of external impact was observed on the mirror. Unfortunately it was not covered under the warranty.

2nd Issue was the front brake lever free play increase. This happened while coming from Hubly to Pune just before reaching Pune. Odometer was somewhere around 2000kms and suddenly the front brake lever travel increased. Issue happened while running itself. During 2nd Service brake bleeding was done and the issue was resolved.

3rdth Issue was the seat stuck and not coming out. Observed at around 10 months after delivery. Issue was resolved after the cable setting was corrected.

Personal View or opinion after using for 14 months

RC 390 is a super cool bike to own and provides a real super bike owning experience. Spares are pretty cheap and the service intervals are long. With latest updates the bike oil change interval is 7500kms and the engine oil cost is around 1500rs approx. including oil & the filter. This makes the KTM bikes very affordable to own compared to the other imported superbikes in the market. Considering the other competitive bikes like Ninja 300 and Yamaha R3, RC 390 is cheap to buy, run and maintain.
Comparing to duke 390, RC is more appealing in terms of look. But as practical as duke though. Due to the super sporty riding position, stiff suspension and a high 2nd row seats makes it difficult to use as an everyday bike. RC is more of a weekend entertainer. But if you are looking for a city bike to roam around with your girlfriend or wife daily with some occasional week end rides and some rides to Ladakh or North east once in a year, Duke 390 is the best bet

A pedestrian crossed the road out of nowhere and while trying to avoid taking him out, he lost control of his bike and crashed. A very sad and unfortunate event that!

I get jitters every time I raise the throttle these days. People just come out of nowhere and stand right in front of your front wheel ready to be taken down. They're ready to risk everybody's life including theirs but not ready to walk a 100-200m to cross the road safely at an intersection.
Ride safe guys!

That's a great choice man. I have a Duke 390, and both are fun to ride motorcycles, and easy on the practicality and economy front too. Wish you miles and miles of happy riding!
