He would have to change his tyre. Because, when I had my car's tyre bubbled up, the service manager had advised to change the tyre as a safety measure. It may explode or something wrong can take place (if the bubbled tyre is used). I don't know what reason he was telling but it's better to change the tyre. I shared what I know.

I meant to say, push for replacement under warranty. Obviously the tire needs to be changed.

The svc will in most cases try to avoid warranty claims. You have to push for it.. send these pictures to bajaj customer care and make it in writing that you want them replaced under warranty.
Assuming the tires have sufficient tread left and the bike is under warranty , you will probably get pro-rated warranty, i.e. for example say the tire has done 5k km , so assuming tire life to be 10k, you might get 50% off on the new tire. If you are very lucky, the tire might be totally free

But to even get the pro-rated claim under warranty, i suggest you keep it in writing and send the pictures to bajaj customer care.

It should be easier in your case since its a relatively new bike with low mileage.. you should easily get at-least 75% off on the new tire.. make sure its the metzeler!

Looking at the rim exactly at the place where you're tyre seems to have a bulb, I assume its a tear by a sharp stone (look at the chips of paint missing from the wheel showing the white primer), not severe that the tyre loses pressure, but just enough to show the tyre bulged up under inflation.

However, Good luck with the replacement...

I had one question and one suggestion.
The question is how is the bike after installing the K&N kt1211?
The suggestion is go for the Powertronic. It's very good. I'm saying because I've one. And Now I'm thinking to get one air filter..
The stock replacement K&N is brilliant. Marginally better mileage as well.

The engine breathes better and you do feel the bike being more responsive. The power delivery is more linear but unlike what the dyno says the 1bhp bump in power cannot be felt.

Did you see Danny push to 175 when he crashed? Were you there on the scene? Do you know the facts of the crash? If you don't please PM me, I'll tell you. This reference is pure insolence. As soon as we throw our leg over the saddle of any bike, we are risking death. FYI, no bike is safe, it is the human mind and senses that govern the fine line between life and death, but then again, how long can one keep the reaper at bay?

do not assume just because he died that he was riding rashly or he was careless. Danny is a younger brother to me and a lot of others here on the forum as well. Show some respect to our fallen.

No, I didn't! I do not question his ability on the race track. I met him a couple of times.
BUT, I personally insisted him to ride better in city. This is from his 100 mph Pulsar days.
Also, if one looks at his vlogs on Youtube, one does see that even city roads weren't spared.
My point was, highway isn't one's garden! It has to be shared by all and doing moronic speeds will lead to death. Period!

                                Got a problem with that?
