Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Bro maybe u can use the heat gun and try bending the tank pad.. i have no idea but u can give it a try..Originally posted by SpeedyKol View PostCan you share the pic of size 14 Rubber Washer? I have some bajaj spares distributors here and I will get it today then. Secondly give me some idea how to fit the P200NS tank pad on the RC390. The curved tank is not holding the tank pad. I dont want to use feviquick or something that would spoil the tank permanently.

P.S. : These pics were awesome and I don't know why It's getting blur & pixelated here.
Some of the pics that I clicked of my bike. No tyre hugger = sexiness.
But you will need it in summer.
Removing it is hardly 5 min work and putting it back might take 15 min.
Just remove the 2 bolts mentioned above and tight then back after removing parts.
Keep parts in home and install them back when you're touring or its rainy season.
No tyre hugger in rainy season = so much hard mud under sear area, number plate area and even in rear seat. If there's a pillion, expect their back to be full wet and all mud painted.
There is no warranty or thing. I took of mine saree Guard and left it at service centre itself right after purchasing bike.
The higher I took out at home in few days.
Best of luck.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Guys, can i claim warranty for my handle which is a slight bend towards the right side?
My bike is 1 and half months old and It is like that from day one, but the service centre refused to change that during my first service under warranty and asked 6k for the whole handle change. I was not sure if it really was a defect or fault or is just normal so decided not to proceed any further. But recently when i checked my friends rc i realized that his handlebars are not like mine, it can be noticed from the gap between the handlebars and the tank. Riding wise there is no problem though. It is ok.
So can i do something about this?

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Are you measuring the gap from the switchgear? If yes, then it may just be fitted at different levels.Originally posted by PULKRY0 View PostGuys, can i claim warranty for my handle which is a slight bend towards the right side?

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
I've done the exact same things with my friends brand new 1 day old RC200. It looked exactly like yours. I've even seen a few dukes like this. The switchgear is'nt installed with precision as far as I know. Your bike's fine.Originally posted by PULKRY0 View PostHere are some pics.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Mine also is like that. While riding, let go of the handlebar and see if the bike moves towards any side, if it does its a problem, if not it doesn't really matter. For me it doesn't affect performance in any way really, so no point paying 6k for that right? Get it checked out at an ASC next time you give it for serviceOriginally posted by PULKRY0 View PostHere are some pics.

Bro i saw ur pics its not a problem i also hv purchased the bike before 1 month and its the same handlebar gap like yours but still there is a solution to check whether there is a problem or not when u are riding your bike just let go off the handle bar and check if the bike is going left or right then there is a problem and you should get it checked otherwise not. 🙂🙂

I was really curious about it, if others also had the same issueOriginally posted by AngadV View PostMine also is like that. . Before the first service the bike actually used to sway to the left a little bit but it has been rectified, so its all fine now.
