the ktm indicator's are also made in India, and a lot of the ktm spares (especially the consumables and exterior parts such as levers, brake pads etc..) are priced on par with pulsar spares.
iirc the rs and ktm indicators cost almost the same (400~500rs a piece), and i wont be surprised if they are the same units on both these bikes.
    the supplier is Rinder India

Common problem with most of the RC series bikes. Do not try to stick with fewikwik, it's only a temporary stop gap measure and it will crack in no time and probably won't even stick. Get a replacement if you're under warranty.
@fayad555, RS 200 have come with the same indicators of that of the Duke series. For what it's worth, they should be swappable vice-versa. Check the mount points, they "might" differ. Take the faulty ones of yours to a Bajaj SVC and tell them you need this one for RS and check the one they provide visually, if the mounts are similar, we have a match, though as Siddharth pointed Rinder makes blinkers, and whole host of headlamp, and illumination related stuff for most of Bajaj and upper CC bikes in India.

      Cheers!

No it won't. It's just the coolant overflow bike so unless you really get the bike overheated it will fine. I have been riding for weeks with the same issue and no probs. Planning to fix it rather than replace as I imagine the new one will be made of the same crap and will break too.

          So somehow the high beam
Bulb has stopped working since yesterday and it's been difficult riding. Like, today Morning in this dark winter weather.

I'm thinking of upgrading to something better than stock bulb. (No super expensive thing).

          Any recommendations??
Also, I'm thinking about a bit whitish light. Anyone using such?
(I'm well aware of the Kelvins and how they work in dark, winter and fog).

Wobbling sound from the speedometer!! Probably it is the first time I've ever heard of a wobbling from speedometer, can you elaborate or explain it a bit in a cerain manner, would help people here understand the nature of your problem, and provide solution if any...

Since you are "aware" of the lumens and want a white light, why don't you head right to the SVC, do yourself a good reason, and get the stock bulb replaced to another stock one. You wouldn't have to worry about lumens, white light. But apart from that, stock RC 390 headlamps do not require a upgrade IMHO. The white light of the pseudo-HID perfectly complements what the bike has to offer. Yes, the throw could be a little better, but you can always have additional LED upgrade.

By mentioning that I'm aware I just wanted to stop people from starting the topic of the usage of yellow tint in fog and how white is illegal and useless, etc.
Stock is always there as option, but yes I'm looking for some better throw of light while. One of xbhp member has a setup of oarsmen hid and the lighting is like a car but the cost is 10k.
I also have good led fog lights from my Pulsar220. But cannot install them permanently on RC390. It looks bad, maybe because it's not made for such looks like Duke.

                  Hey guys..
Off late I've observed a unusual sound from the engine. It's like some metal sound or mostly like a loose metal sound.
Can anyone help me with this.?

There is a plate below the silencer which tends to get loose with vibrations. Try to tighten the bolts.

                      Thanks for your reply,
Upon looking I found a screw was half out and bent causing that sound...and a bit of the fairing had been broken will take it to SVC asap and get that done.

Hey guys , recently got back from a 3.5k kms road trip from Chennai-Kanyakumari -Alapuzzha-Kozhikode-Karwar-Goa-Chennai along the west coast. Attaching a few pictures of the ride .

Additionally facing a couple of problems ,

1.Bike is the FY'16 RC390 , she's run around 22k kms on ODO . Off late I get the low battery indicator everytime on cold starts .Since the bike and battery is still under warranty could I claim the warranty for the battery or would charging the battery suffice ?

                            2. My chain sprocket has went kaput again ,there seems to be uneven slack on the chain at a particular point .Chain maintenance was done every 500-600kms , my stock chain sprocket kit was changed at 12k kms and again in the next 10k kms the same issue seems to be popping up . Is there any aftermarket chain kit for the 390s or is there any particular way to fix the issue on the existing chain ?

Please share your views on the same.

                              1. Get the battery and charging system checked at the svc. Since the bike is under 1 yr, yes the battery will be under warranty. Let them check the voltages at idle and at 5000rpm to see if the issue is with the rr unit or stator.. (stator can be checked by measuring resistance across the terminals- refer the workshop manual for the exact procedure)
also get the battery recharged once. If the problem crops up again after a few days, and assuming the stator & RR unit are fine.. insist on a battery replacement.

                              2. A bit of uneven slack is normal and doesn't warrant a chain sprocket change. I would suggest you get the chain cleaned thoroughly (not by a fancy spray) using diesel and a rinse off with a pressure wash, then wipe it dry with a rag and apply 90 gear oil (MAK spirol, Castrol GL4) to lubricate it. Don't forget to clean the area around the front sprocket by removing the plastic cover off.

Thanks mate . By uneven slack I meant ,at one particular point the chain is rigid with no play at all and at another point it's loose . So,when I tighten the chain considering the loose spot the wheel gets stuck on the tight spot ,if it's vice versa chain is very loose at other points .
