Also post pics of the front and rear sprockets.. if they are worn beyond useful life, then it's to replace it all.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
This time before going for a new chain/sprocket, just ask them to replace only the rubber dampers (cush rubbers) in the rear hub and see if that fixes the uneven slack. But first get it cleaned, lubed and adjusted correctly(correct procedure given in the manual.. follow it to the T).. some mechanics i've seen do not adjust it properly, its either too taut or the alignment is off.Originally posted by Chris2292 View Post

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
I would do that this time if the issue persists after cleaning and would post the pictures of the sprockets too . Have never given the bike to mechanics for chain adjustments, maybe am missing the alignment while adjusting . Will get to the bottom of this before I get a new chain kit .Originally posted by s1d View PostThis time before going for a new chain/sprocket, just ask them to replace only the rubber dampers (cush rubbers) in the rear hub and see if that fixes the uneven slack. Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
No it won't. It's just the coolant overflow bike so unless you really get the bike overheated it will fine. I have been riding for weeks with the same issue and no probs. Planning to fix it rather than replace as I imagine the new one will be made of the same crap and will break too.Originally posted by SubhashGowda07 View PostK bro will take it service centre tomorrow, but just worried about is it gonna leak or something ?Leh Ladakh Aug 2015

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Chains almost always wear in an uneven pattern, and it's mostly the chaps at SVC who either tight it either extra taut or without properly checking the alignment of the wheel and what not, just to give you a perspective. First off, recommend you to visually inspect the chain, at the loosest spot, try pulling the chain horizontally from the end of the rear sprocket, if the chain comes out or exposes a tooth significantly, we can pretty much assume your chain has seen the days, and it's time for a new one. If the extension is moderate, suggest you readjust your slack accordingly...Originally posted by Chris2292 View PostThanks mate . By uneven slack I meant ,at one particular point the chain is rigid with no play at all and at another point it's loose . So,when I tighten the chain considering the loose spot the wheel gets stuck on the tight spot ,if it's vice versa chain is very loose at other points .

The girl said, 'NO!'

I am having some trouble pasting the link here, you have an even concise and excellent review from Bike Advice
Search for "RC390: MRF Revz C1 & FC1 Radial Tyres Test: 500 kms 1 Week Review" in Google, Bike Advice
Go through this article and you will get your answers.
Cheers!

I have.Originally posted by IamAditya View PostGuys..

And personally saying, all the articles and reviews online are just not completely true or accurate. I even tried making a video review of it but all 3 times there were some issue and I lost all the video files. So I gave up on it.
In reviews you'll read that this mrf looks bigger but in actually even being the same size it looks smaller from side and rear.
I've clocked around 5000+ km till now.
If you're not a corner guy ( not even those normal ones) you can go for it.
You can do your dramatic braking, powerwheelies, clutch wheelies, dragging, revving full speed, revving in dust - gravel for those dust blowing burnouts happily because there's no fear of loosing the tyre grip as we have in Metzeler.
This tyre is good for touring (I've done few along with pillion and luggage),
daily commute (I'm doing),
And those highway speed runs to achieve top end or to see everyone in rvm
And, all the things I've mentioned above.
Please do no get if you're into cornering.
For around 3500₹, you can abuse this tyre and still use it for same or more life than Metzeler.
I started abusing it right after the minute they were installed and still they have not shown any such drastic rubber wearing off.
My advice would be to use nitrogen from day 1, don't treat it like Metzeler - it's no where near to it but it does its own work excellently.
And, enjoy! [emoji1373]First I was Scared But then We Made a Deal

Remove the battery cover and just lightly press the slots under the tank cover which lock the battery cover. The vibrations will go away. Don't use too much pressure as it might break, just press a little and it will goOriginally posted by Syed Mustafa View PostHello guys there is an annoying sound coming out of battery cover while riding it's annoying too much while riding the bike can anybody help me out in this i posted this many times in this group but there were no satisfying replies... Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
What i meant was, before putting the cover back on just press the locks under the cover a little. Double sided tape didn't work for me.Originally posted by Syed Mustafa View PostBro thanks for ur reply but i have completely pressed it in the locks below the tank but its still vibrating!!Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly.
