Don't know about RC, but one of my Friends got it done on his R3. For The whole bike it costed him Rs 10,000 approx. Including rubing and stuff.

Where did you find this information??

In my rc the bulbs are
H11 55w for low beam and
          H9 65w for high beam.

Btw my rc's rev limiter is there at around 9500 rpm. My odo reading is 600. Do they change this in first service? What should be the rev limiter value??

Guys.. Has anyone installed frame sliders? If yes, do they protect gear/brake lever if bike crashes & how much did you get them for?

Hi this info is wrong, probably you took that info from manual which has misprinted figures.

              low beam is 55W H11 @ 1350 lm
              High beam is 65 H9 @ 2100 lm

              Thanks

There is no "Rev Limiter" as such. There are two gear shift Indicators that can be set based on your requirement. But usually till the break-in is complete, they're set at 5000RPM and 7500RPM. It is suggested you shift within 7500RPM till you complete 1000Kms and/or first service.

                  TIA.
I paid Rs. 999 for it. Yes it is a direct fit but only for the low beam. It's a 55W bulb with a H11 connector. Haven't and won't replace the High beam with a whiter bulb. The visibility has decreased a bit with the new bulb in dimly lit roads, it gets absorbed. If there are no lights, the visibility is just excellent. The yellowish high beam provides great visibility on highways and I don't want to tamper with that.
As I said, I switched to this only for the looks. I ride my bike with the low beam always on and the stock yellow tinted bulb doesn't go well with the bright white LED pilot lamps.

                  Will upload a photo soon.
                  Cheers!

The Bulb Inside the package is the stock bulb, not the Philips one. I'll upload a photo of the light throw soon, a bit busy today and the parking lot is extremely well lit to get a proper photo of the throw.

I know about the shift light. There is a difference between shift light and rev limiter. The rev limiter is there for sure @9500rpm. He bike won't rev beyond this limit.

It is the red light on the top part of the speedometer. They can be set according to your choice(refer manual). They are suppose to suggest us when to upshift.

Please refer attached image. Don't be confused between rev limiter and shiftlight as both are completely different things. Rev limiter is a non variable entity set at factory by manufacturer and engine can't rev over the limit unless modifications are done at electronic level. Whereas shiftlight is a user configured program which serve as a reminder to the rider for any of the reasons ranging from efficiency by setting it low or high for staying in the powerband of the rev range.

I hope it made things little clearer.

Frame sliders are totally different from lever protectors, frame sliders prevent the bike's engine casing, side fairing/cowls and prevents them from getting grazed when the bike slides on the road, but the handlebar, exhaust, gear levers are still immune to break, bend whatever you wanna call it. Get a lever protector if you intend to protect your levers.

3M PPF has been done extensively by many people here on different motorcycles, IIRC, it costs 500 per sq foot, I might be wrong, check the R15, Benelli and Yamaha R3 threads people have done them and have gotten good results, some good, some bad, but the choice is yours. Costly, but works quite well for years to come.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                            The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                            THE END

Thanks a lot.I though it's the same as rev limiter.
BTW how do I know when it has been redlined.like in pulsar ns200 there was an orange light on the console which used to glow.
And what's the difference between rpm1 and rpm2?
