I guess I am applying too much pressure on the bars, I am still learning to grip the tank with my knees.

I am planing to wrap my bike with this:

In coming next months, this is what is in my head:

-- Powertronics ECU
-- EBC double sinster brake pads
-- Stomp Grip
-- Adjustable levers

Can you guys help me with tank pads? I don't want to go with tank pads of superbikes as they are too large for out size of tank.
There is no need to put much efforts. With increasing kilometres your body will adjust itself.

For the tank pad, it's better to get KTM Powerparts tank pad. it has 3 parts (Tank centre, left & right)
It helps a lot in maintains the grips with knees.

There is no need for ECU unless you're going to pop wheelies now & then or having full fun on roads. The stock bike is already capable of it.

The adjustable levers are complete waste of money. I had them in my Pulsar 220. Its 100% showoff and 0% affective.

It looks very awesome to have something orange, much mechanical / complicated in look.
But once you set them in a setting, you're not going to change it. your hands would like 1 setting and not different settings every day.

the foldable part advantage - Yes it's an advantage. But
on the other hand it costs around 1000₹ for 1 side lever. The stock one costs hardly 150-200₹.

RC390 has different kind of plastics.

The tank is a smooth plastic - Even a normal Colin makes it shine.

The battery cover is a different quality of plastic.
The plastic around ODO meter is again different and it has kind of roughness (feels like dotted).

So what kind of polish do you guys use to make it black-shine?

The service centre uses something that has no name on it. [emoji23]
But it does make the make shiny for a long time without any harm.

Hey. I use Formula 1 Dashboard polish on my RC's plastic parts to make them shine.

I agree with what you said and below is the reason why i wanted the update:

-Powertronic ECU - I plan to do track days and I want the revband to be higher so that I don't have to change the gear too frequently while attacking a corner
- Adjustable levers - some bling don't hurt anyone , this is just for cosmetic purpose.

Guys need an answer as soon as possible, how do I check the engine oil level? The small window on the right underbelly if I'm correct? Today after riding I noticed an oil leak - head gasket, the sheen of oil could be seen on it clearly. Now the question is, right after riding, when I checked that window, I couldn't see anything at all. When is the best time to check engine oil- cold hot engine etc?
Also, does the display show any warning if there's low engine oil? I don't want to cause any problems, as low oil could really damage the engine.

Need a quick reply ASAP

Thanks!

Please read the owners manual or search a few pages back. the leak (for heavens sake its not head gasket but the valve cover gasket, probably the millionth time i am saying this apart from other folks who have touched on this topic here on xbhp) and oil level topics have been discussed numerous times.
here is one such topic on oil level http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...ml#post1239867

It only indicates a low oil pressure and not directly the oil level itself.
Always do a visual inspection on engine oil level.

I got the top up done yesterday only.

Keep your bike on paddock stand or best is to ask someone to hold the bike in centre position for you while you can look at the glass window for oil level.
Then ask the guy holding the bike to tilt it a bit towards you (The glass window side). The oil level should rise after tilting.

Now :

1. If you see oil anywhere in the glass when the bike is in centre position, everything is fine.

2. If you're able to see the oil after few inches of tilt. It's still fine and that means you'll need an top up of 50-100 ml. You can run your bike without top up also.

3. If you see a bit of oil or no oil even after tilting more than few inches. That means you're definitely in need of top up, anywhere around 120ml to 200ml.
More than 200ml is a topic to discuss with mechanic.
Go to svc and get it done.
Or if you have the same oil bottle you can do it yourself. It's an easy job.

I went to SVC yesterday and they did a top up of around 200ml after my hard throttle running of 4500km.
That's normal for any bike.

P.S. : This SVC and the manager is super awesome. The top up was done free of cost. Maybe it will be free for you also in your SVC. [emoji111]️
