More or less a sane rider, always maintaining correct tyre pressure.city rides are given nothing for 21 kmpl. What could be the issue? Is it normal?

Yeh pretty normal FE in regular city traffic. The 390 give good FE on the highway, almost close to 28-30kmpl when kept under 110kmph.

I get around 25kmpl with mix of revving and sane riding
If I ride sane I get more

Sadly i didn't get any solution. I gave my bike for servicing with a long list of problems but they returned it very late in the evening, as i was in a hurry i couldn't talk to them about all the things they had done. It turns out that they didn't do anything, they just changed the oil. Everything was a waste . And surprisingly it rained that very day and guess what water still gets in.

Sit really close to the tank and keep ur tip toe on the footpegs and keep ur palms really light on the bars.

No, theres a way but that will hurt your back and back pain is worse than wrist pain. What i found effective was to load up the tank bag and rest on it in between the ride. Anyways 10-15 hrs ride take toll on your wrists nonetheless, but you are fine for next day after good rest. Using volini etc works.
Ps: By long i mean 800-1000kms.

Greetings to all. Finally logged in to xbhp after a long long time. Say about after 4 years! Lots have changed in between but not the love for bikes.
I own 2014 KTM RC 390. Its been almost 2 years and have done around 3200 kms on my pocket rocket. Booked the bike on 24th October 2014. Got the delivery on 28 th November 2014. I was the first person to get the RC 390 in my city "Bareilly". Well coming onto bike. This is a proper mean machine. Just love the pulling power. Have done max 185 km/hr after which the limiter kicks in. Have been lucky as till now no issues have cropped up except only once when the battery went down. Got 2 services done till now. Changed the coolant at every service along with oil, oil filter along with normal tightening of nuts and bolts. Removed the tyre hugger, had to replace the standard bolts with 2 small ones as the bolts were big and fouling with the sprocket. Removed the front number plate and to hold the mirrors in place had to get the hooks of number plate cut and installed. No vibrations from mirrors after that. I am using the fuel "speed" since day 1. The bike response is smooth and less vibrations. I also add STP octane booster about 80 ml after every 2 tankfull. And STP injector cleaner around 30 ml once a month. Have been getting around 22-28 km/l. I also enquired about slipper clutch with my SC, they are saying it will cost total 9000/- including labour and its a whole day job. Have ordered it,will be getting it done by the month end. In all very happy with my pocket rocket. Rest now will be a regular visitor here. Happy revving and safe riding.

185 km/h ? Are you sure? I thought the speed limiter kicks in at 179km/h.

Yes brother. 185 km/hr. Till 170 km/hr it goes easily. From 170-185 it takes time. The limiter comes at 185 km/hr

How much does this pressure washer cost? (serious question). Where do I buy it from?
What would happen if you brought your hand in front of the nozzle?(noob question)
