Yes RC demands you to be physically fit. Thats what i like about rc .

    get a tank grip pad.
hold the tank with your thighs firmly then your arms will get relaxed. share the load alternatively between thighs and arms. and you can cover 500-600 kms without much issue.

I think after first service it will come down to 179, the r3 tops off at 184 and has a better top end than the rc but its about high speed cruising the rc n duke 390 good at 130-160kmph I reckon

All these are good @ track only. For normal indian roads 80 to 120 is more than enough, anything beyond that (even 80 also) is very risky.

Already got 2 services done. My friend has a ninja 300. We do drags sometimes, ninja is behind 390 till 150-155 km/ hr. After tht it crosses 390, while the RC maxes out at 185, ninja goes all the way to 190-195 km/hr

My RC has more top end power than mid range, I mean the bike doesnt pull that hard till 7k rpm but after that, its just amazing.
Something to do with how I have ran in the motor i guess.
I also have a powertronic piggyback ecu installed also, my rc goes over 190 kmph.
So far no ninja has came close to my rc.

I hope all of this is done at a race track only.

In track there's a closed environment where you know that you can take your bike to its limits. But these speeds which we are talking about i have heard first time, what all i heard is RC390 tops out at 178 kmph and for ninja it's 184 kmph unless there's a slope. But these speeds are highly dangerous because at that speeds these bikes are not controllable and that too at public roads.

True! I hope everyone understand this.
Because all it takes is a panic situation at 60 kmph and not more.

Top speed claimed by companies can also decrease or increase when trying personally depending on a long list of factors like :
Wind, Cross wind, Rider weight, Crouching Angle, Tire air pressure, Chain slackness and etc etc.

Mostly we don't pay attention to half of this and it's just like :

"Wow it's a straight open road, let's do a drag" (No offence to anyone, even I've done stuff like this in past).

And so the top end, mid range and initial pickup changes its figures.
First I was Scared But then We Made a Deal

Only to a certain extent IMO. KTM engine tops out at 170ish true speed. Aerodynamics can only help it a little more and it would not cross 185+ with zero weight even in vacuum.

Add a long decline and you get a speed boost. No?

That's why I mentioned a hypothetical (speedo indicated) 185ish figure. Gearing restricts the engine from revving any more faster and destroying itself. You may gain up to 10 kmph on a very smooth long incline courtesy gravity and potential energy being converted to kinetic.
