This makes me want to ride a ktm. Sadly i don't have any friends who own a ktm.

      OT:
For this, you should participate in weekly G2G meets/rides. You'll get new friends and you may swap your R3 for their RC for a while.
      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Its not about top speed to me but how the bike make me feels, I love the way the power is delivered on ktm, I love the torque, I wont be riding at top speed all the time.
I just love how it handles, how it pulls, i just love how the overall bike feels.
Most importantly I love how it makes me feel everytime I swing a leg over.

Top speed isn't what a machine should be ridden at on open roads. What matters is cruising speed and then the reserve speed which you have that can help you escape any untoward incidents or any emergencies where speeding and escaping situation is essential/logical choice rather than braking.

Attaining 185 or above is actually a fantasy for a stock RC390 yes, but then a decline will obviously make you go there..

Back in 2014 December I attained 178kmph on RC390 while chasing Hayabusa's & R1 on NH8 just outside of Mumbai and I felt the engine just locked in there. No 179 on meter.

These KTM's are quick. They reach to their top speed very quick and then just sit in there.

I've seen this thing clearly on a Duke 200 in 2013. Duke friend use to go 133 very quick and I was always around 90kmph at that moment, then After passing him I was around 140+ while his engine was stuck at 133.

Any one here upsized the rear tyre to 160 or 170 ?

P.S. : I know about the cons and all. There is no need to turn the topic towards that side.

I dont know about here, but many are running this setup outside. Mostly they prefer 120/160 setup or 110/140 setup.

Has anybody adjusted handlebar Heights ? My friend is thinking to buy this monster and he wants to increase the handlebar height to get some upright sitting .

Possible with the use of compatible handlebar risers. You may have to import (costly) or get one fabricated/machined out of a single block of metal (cheaper than importing).
