If the bike was repaired and handed over to the customer after the accident and the leak happened after that (and not due to an accident), then it must be covered under warranty. And I assume the bike is under the standard 2yr warranty.
in some cases, say e.g. the fork was damaged in accident and he was recommended to change forks, but only got it repaired , then they can deny warranty.
Ask your friend to shoot an email to bajaj customer care.

I dont think so and if that is the outcome of the accident than why they havnt detected before.this part was good to them at that time so it should be covered in warranty now. If they still argue than please write an email to ktm support.

No the fork wasn't damaged in the accident. This problem came up just few days ago. The service manager said that the bike won't have warranty anymore as it has been registered as accidental bike. He says KTM won't allow us to replace the fork seal under warranty. Don't know if its true or he is just bluffing!

After a certain point one must stop verbal discussions with such asc's, ask him to give that in writing or you shoot an email to bajaj customer care and ask them to confirm that in writing and you can take it up legally if you have the patience. Just sending them a legal notice would send them in to a 'fix it for free' mode.

So the parts just arrived today and I went to give my bike at the SVC to get it fixed on insurance but now they are saying I'll have to pay the full amount and the claim value would be credited into my account while at the time of purchasing my bike they said it would be cashless and I would have to pay just the 10% amount and there wouldn't be any need to credit anything into my account
This pisses me off cause I bought their insurance cause it was cashless
Will head to the showroom tomorrow to talk to the manager

Gods. They say anything to sell the bike.
                "As I lay rubber

Yes H9 bulbs are not available online or even car spare parts.
Some of the car spare parts owner told me that there is no such H9 type.
KTM ASS has only low beam (55w H11) in stock and not high beam H9 65W.
Asked one of the friend who works for phillips to check one for me. lets see.

Yes I tried car accessory shops but the problem is they generally ask what car model and when I tell them that it is for a bike they will simply say it wont fit in bikes. Even when asked for a particular model of a bulb they simply ask which car as if the customer does not know anything technical about bulbs which is very irritating.

The KTM ASS will usually be able to place an order with their supplier if you ask them to do so. Also you can try other service centers in your city. Usually Bajaj pro biking ASS will have better parts availability than the others.

First read your policy document carefully. and if its true that its cashless (or even if you have a doubt) shoot an email to the insurance company demanding an explanation. When you put things in writing, the results are usually different. These insurance agents and svc's mostly try to rip you off.
So check your document, shoot an email to the insurance company and if you have proof that it is cashless, then inform them that you will take this up with IRDA since it amounts to misleading and cheating customers by asking to pay upfront.
