s1d You're right Siddharth. That's the reason why I said "by the books" as you can see, yes the Indian version has a different setup compared to the EU ones. The EU ones both have H11 55w as standard, we get 10w more. Both in fact have the same pin but the socketing is different.
@Sanket s the manual is not wrong, the manual is correct, but they've provided it for the EU version, and we have a 10w difference, so noting to worry, downgrading too means no problem, lesser power means happier stator and happier battery

Gr8 guys.One last question..
So should I upgrade the bulbs to Philips diamond vision,or Osram nightbreakers.
Or
Use high beam(65w) bulb in place of low beam(55w) bulb?

Thanks for the reply. It would be covered under warranty right? What causes this and any precautions I have to take for this?

Stick with 65, 65 is better than 55. Philips and Osram both are on par. If you want comparatively white light opt for Philips.

If you fall under the warranty period, then absolutely yes, it will be replaced under warranty. Heat is what causes rubber to change shape overtime they become harder over time and start to leak. Also it could be due to improperly torqued valve cover bolts. There aren't any precautions per se, it weeps for no reason, you just never know when. Get your gasket replaced -- sometimes the SVC guys reuse the same gasket using Loctite. Ask them specifically to change the gasket and then apply Loctite.

Cheers!

The H9 produces 2100 lumen of light where as the H11 is rated at 1350 lumen. So the H9 is 50% brighter than the H11.

The socket does not need any changes but you have to do some DIY on the bulb itself to make it fit. I will take some pictures of the mod and post it over the weekend.
Bro ..i was also thinking of same upgrade but one thing to make sure 65w bulb produce lot more heat and it might ruin ur projector reflector also i dont think it will make more than 25% diff as in low beam shutter inside the projector cuts half of the lumens.
what i will suggest upgrade to high quality hid(35 w one will be plug and play) and you can fell the diff ..I have done that and it was worth ...

The performance after mods is pretty good, you will definitely feel more power but the main thing here is how that power is delivered.
The engine now runs smoother and doesn't feel stressed like it does in stock.
Race dynamics provide you with 5 maps of which I have tried map no 1 and 3

Map no 1(standard map) - race dynamics recommends this map for stock bikes for daily usage, touring etc.
This map is healty for engine according to race dynamics.
The power delivery is linear with an awesome top end rush. This map also provides better fuel economy depending on how you ride.

Map no 3 - it is sort of a rich map, power all around the Rev range, throttle response is just too good and bike pulls from as low as 4k rpm without sluttering.

The sluttering has reduced a lot in both the maps and engine now feels smooth n happy with more power. Torque delivery is now smooth,no flat spots throughout the Rev range.

Rahul, it is all very good info. to know about. How much did it cost you for the remapping and ecu?

Also from where did you get the double bubble wind screen?
"As I lay rubber
down the street
I pray for traction

if I spin and begin
to slide , please
dear god, protect
my sweet ride"- Amen

Yesterday I took my bike to a local mechanic to change the bent clutch lever. The mechanic after finishing the job tried to start my bike. He revved the hell out of my bike without even letting the initial start up check (i forgot what it's exactly called) to complete. The bike shut down by itself after a while and it refused to start up when he tried again. But when i switch off the ignition and tried again then it started. I may being paranoid but guys do you think that could have or has damaged the bike? I mean the fuel pump or something?

I am being extremely cautious because the nearest service centre is more than 200kms away and the waiting period of parts is more than a month. They don't even stock a clutch lever and said that it may take a month to arrive. So they told me buy rs 200 one. I had to buy it from bajaj here.

Interesting fact the pulsar rs uses the same levers as the ktm's. Tge the lever which i bought had ktm branding on packet not bajaj. And it cost me only rs100.

I bought the windscreen from Ktmtwins.com and the overall cost was 8500/-
The ecu costs 18k and no extra charge for remapping, race dynamics provides 5 maps for your bike.
