Bro, I also want to get the Visor wrapped in Matt Black -
    1) I asked a Bike Modficiation shop and it asked 1500 for covering the whole Visor Part, and 3500 for painting the Rims. Im planning to go to a normal Car sticker shop and they should do it in 500rs or so I tihnk. The Wheel paining will be abt 2000.

How much was your cost for the visor Wrap? It is Matt Black right? And you got it from a normal Sticker shop or somewhere else ?

    Cheers
mmm.. no my bike's visor is still clear. no stickerin there.
but i know some guys here who has done that. not expensive at all and 500 rs is a pretty good budget and yes a normal car stickering guy can do it.
but il be very interested in ur rims painting adventure. lets see how that turns out!

      Hi Shantnu,

Just eager to know which color you are planning on your wheels ? Black or complete white, considering rc 375 has white shade on major part. If black, adding some Orange reflective stickers could turn your bike into TRON effect

Has anybody here able to source the powerparts windscreen? Or any other windscreen for that matter?

So tested the touring capability of The RC ( I know, funny right ? :P ).
Did ~550km ( Cochin To Bangalore) today and it was a bliss. It's was actually easy doing that kinda distance on ( all credits to the roads I think). I have done this route on an FZ and a RE 350 Classic, was knackered by the end of the day. With the RC, well I'm updating this from office, so you get the drift.
The only trouble was fuel range ( as expected)! Have filled fuel from random petrol stations, and I hope that doesn't mess up anything.
The 2nd service is due, so wil be giving it next week and find out what might have wrong, if any.

That's how motorcycles screw one both up mentally, and psychologically.

Do me one favor, post a good high res pic of your engine number, that's stamped near your gearshift lever.

                  Cheers!

                  The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                    Hello friends,
I am 37 and have returned to biking after a long 5 years. Back then i rode P 220 last.
last week i felt inspired to dispose off my car and go for a bike again. After three days intense catch up on existing machines, and with due care to my pocket, i zeroed in on RC 390. Called the dealer on 19th and brought the baby home on 20th.
Initially i have some reservations about riding stance and comfort however to my own surprise and against my methodological approach in life, i bought it even before sitting on it once.
Just went with the gut feel and is not repenting a single bit.
May be i needed a dash of color and fresh energy into somewhat settled life.
Just completed 150 Kms on odo today. I read a lot of discussion on run in here, but in my opinion a rider would start feeling the same connect with ride as in movie Avatar. So at least in my case the ride is telling me to do the right thing in different conditions. Have seen 105 with 6K RPM in 6th for a dash of 3-6 seconds.

Now some queries for you guys:
                    1. Idle rpm of 1.8 K to 2k, is it fair enough or on higher side.
                    2. Looking for some nice gloves, which i can wear in approaching summers as well.
                    3. From where do i check engine oil level. Had already got coolant topped from dealer the very next day as it was sitting at minimum.
                    4. Need a saddle bag or tank bag. Preferable saddle bag. Any info on whether it can be tied on such an incline.
                    5. Do i need to have some some protective screen on tank from rider side as with time it may start showing wear from the touching point (or may be i m too cautious).

                    Wd appreciate help

Yes mine is duke 390 and it has all the specifications mentioned in the NDTV site... I will try to post pics by this weekend.

This is very difficult bike to ride under restriction(60 kmph speed limit)... Want to complete initial 1000 km quickly..... This bike loves to fly...

                              The manual mentions 1.5 k rpm +-2 (i guess, my bike idles @ 1.6 oct 2014)
However yours might be from a newer lot and have some better firmware

Gloves I would recommend try out TBG(review) these guys are awesome for gloves dont know if they sell in Delhi

So if you know how to check engine oil in a 220 its the same window, also you would need the bike to be straight and not leaned over to a side(moreover my mechanic says they fill the oil to a lower level since all the oil leak issues were reported in duke however you can see the oil if the bike is straight)

You can get a tank pad (some one in ebay sells the KTM tank pad for 1k ) however RC specific tank pads are not in market yet.

I tried using my Cramster saddlebags from 220 they were ok .. the best would be a tank bag (viaterra fly)

Hi I saw that you say 1.8k is normal idle RPM the bike manual states 1.5 +-2 (if my memory serves me right )
Do you have any friends whose idle is also 1.8 or just you .. My bike idles @ 1.6

Hi Guys, I desperetly need some help here!!!. I wanted to confirm that if I buy a used single owner KTM RC 390 and get the bike transferred to my name, would the warranty get void. The showroom guys at Chennai said that the warranty applies only for the first owner. A friend of mine said that warranty can be transfered. The bike has only 800kms on the odo. Could any of you'll please shed some light on this. I remember even in the past a Yamaha dealer telling me that the warranty applies only for first registered owner.......... Not sure... Please help
