          Hello Guys,
I need some URGENT help here. My engine light (Orange) all of a sudden is on continuously. I got my second service done yesterday and the bike has clocked 1700kms on the odo. I filled up Speed97 yesterday and things were fine. Today in the evening when I started and hardly rode for 2kms and the engine check orange light started flashing and after that was on continuously. I switched off the bike and then started; after that my headlights did not turn on. I switched off and on again and the headlights came on but the engine light is not going off. Have anyone experienced this problem or know what I should do.

Pl take the bike to the ASC and they will connect their diagnostic tool to the ecu port and run a diagnostic. That will tell you why the orange engine check light came on.
Once they find what is causing it, they should fix that.

Its 2.52 lac. Booking period has come down suddenly. When I inquired in last week of Feb I was told of a 30 - 45 day waiting period. A few days back when I went again I was told of delivery within a week. I suspect many have cancelled booking in anticipation of slipper clutch upgrade.

Hmmm. Huh. I am starting to think my Bullet is more reliable. Went for a long ride for 300 kms and High Coolant Temperature came on and the bike stopped. I had to wait for around 15-20 mins before starting again. Funny thing is the fan wont immediately turn on. It waits for around 2-3kms and then switches on even though the engine temp is so high after the warning. Under normal riding conditions suddenly when I go full throttle the bike does not accelerate smoothly....there are a few lags before pick-up like something is blocked. All in all, it is a good bike but I feel it is like owning a Royal Enfield; you have to really love the bike to be able to adjust to all these niggles which keep cropping up. BTW. The orange light problem stopped and it is working fine now. I read on the internet that sometimes when washing the bike, water gets into the sensor or something and then the light starts misbehaving... But after drying up properly and switching the ignition on and off the problem goes away. Sometimes I feel it is like a computer, restart and then works fine----prob not solved----restart again.....

The high coolant warning light : I had problems similar to what yo have described with with RC390 ( first lot), the radiator was changed under warranty for this and it runs smoothly thereafter.
With ref to the throttle response : Is this all the time, or during the first few kms of riding ?
