    1. I have PFZ tyre protector on my rear tyre since my 2nd day of ownership. Once I went over a deep pothole at approx 65kmph and this caused a slight bend at the rear rim and a big puncture at the left side near the level 5 mark. I lost all air immediately and could see PFZ oozing out. So like VJ mentioned, if its a big punture, any sealant wont help much.
After the incident, PFZ guys visited me to check out the puncture. They told me that if the puncture is away from the centre patch, again PFZ wont seal.

After a month or so, I started losing air from the fixed puncture - again I could see PFZ solution coming out of it but could not seal it.

    3. I recently bought a Cramster Breezer 4S and had to crash test only last Sunday on the Kari Speedway. The jacket did a brilliant job - the impact was at the right shoulder as well as the elbow and I did not feel a thing. Some patches on the jacket have torn off thought.

So, the first shit happened. 800 kms later, due to a lazy guy at chakan who was thinking about what his wife had cooked for him or whatever, he did not properly tighten the bolt that comes from link rod and connects to gear lever, and it fell off after few misshifts. I tightened it then and there with hand, because spanners from toolkit dont fit there. And yes, it wasnt loctited too.
Not sharing this to rant, but dont want a non technical guy to be stranded somewhere. Get that bolt checked and loctited.

These risers are for woodcraft clip ons only. Unless you have woodcraft as your handle bars, there is no use of this.

The risers wont be of much help if you have back/wrist ache. You should ideally get used to the riding stance in about a month or so.

My wrist aches a lot. Why won't a riser help? how about installing dukes Handlebar and triple tree

That still wont make it upright, even if its remotely possible. You have to get used to the position. Exercise, try using thighs wile braking so that your thighs take the load and not your forearms.

Ride with your thighs hugging the tank and easy our your wrist n arms. And while braking, support your upper back by your back and not put load on your wrists.

                    Ride safe and have fun.

Many of the 390 riders might have experienced this daily, yes you guessed it right. Its the heat generated, the inability of coolant to cope up with the heat and constant running of fan in city due to this. Rc owners have it even worse. Their fan kicks in earlier than dukes, so no matter how hard you try, it will keep on spinning.
From what i know, duke/rc has the most cheapest coolant i.e ethylene glycol and water mixed in 50:50 ratio. And its basically a car coolant, it has silicates, which will eat out the gasket of waterpump eventually. Also the cooling isnt that great.
So that led me to search for some options used by big bikes, and me and my friend found out that most people are using engine ice, water wetter, vw g13 premix, and honda type 2 coolant.
Whats your take? Experts and sbk users, please opine, what you use.

I was just talking to a few folks about this today, I'm wondering if it's worth the price or another gimmick. When i say gimmick, I meant whether the outputs are going to be measurable.

PS : Missed the second free service, didn't realize it was number of days from the date of purchase and not from the last service Seems a bit odd that they will keep the service too close in terms of days, but if you go by the miles covered it's a long run.

If your wrist pain try this thing your wrists should be above the level of hand grips and not below it.

Ex if you are wearing a watch on left hand the top of the watch face should be slightly above the level of hand grips.
this will lead to you leaning more front but I feel 0 wrist pain due to this.

Actually silicates are good, but for the short term. Most the coolants are ethylene or propylene based, but the they do contain some trace amount of silicates. Green Coolant is almost a thing of the past on newer cars. What's wrong with green coolant? Well, in a word, nothing! Traditional green coolant is mostly ethylene glycol, silicates, and green dye. Newer coolants have basically the same ingredients, but with orange, red, blue, purple or amber coloring, and without the high level of silicates. Why is the trend moving away from green antifreeze? Longer maintenance cycles. These days we want every thing to last longer.

You see, silicates are good, and offer excellent protection when new, but after two to three years, after they've been used, they start to decompose, form deposits and corrode the system. Timely replacement of the coolant every year to two year or a year if the usage is high, would reap the benefits of silicates plus the cooling system stays good. Yes they do have corrosive tendencies but timely care prevents most of the issue we face.

Yes this happens in some -- if not quite some Dukes out there, where the gear shifter lever is notorious for giving away at free will. Actually keeping a watchful check on the shifter mechanism every time a trip or a run begins would help save time and the related conundrum.

                            Cheers!
                            VJ
Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                            The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

This is the second post! need help urgently as I gonna book bike on PADAWA on 21st March

Is the clutch of RC390 is smooth/easy as compared to duke 390 older?
(I did test drive but feels both same, maybe its problem with test bike)
How much significant is heating and staling in RC390 as comared to Duke? any suggestions to keep engine cool while running?

                              Thanks in advance !!

It's the same as the duke 390 stop n go traffic riding is very unpleasant. The heat is nicely diverted off ur leg. But I personally had high coolant temperature warnings.
