A simple Google search will yield you a lot more results and information then people explaining it to you. In short it's a diagnostic Bluetooth unit which shows data from the ecu on your phone, tablets l,laptop etc.

Or is it a coincidence that all the cars he tried on didn't show other sensor information?
I don't think it's an issue with the the product. I mean even for the ktm kids the same issue happens.. The rpm is locked or encrypted somehow.. Even fuel and Odo readings unavailable.

One theory I have is that.. The common source code of app we install, cannot decode these correctly.. Hence all the apps don't show these data..

Less chances of a fake.. Its just a chip and 12 to 5v regulator.. Anyway the same goes to many bikes.. Could be an issue with the data transfer protocol too

          Hello bro.. No issues explaining

See our vehicles have an ecu... Which is obviously a computer. It controls basically evrything.. And ecu gets all the data from all the sensors.. So it can control the fuel injection and all

There is a port, like the USB coming out from our ecu.. Its usually put there so that the SVC (not sure if our svc guys are even aware about this) can do diagnostics of the bike..

So anyway the thing is this port obd2 is a link to our ecu.. And since we can access the sensor data we make use of it

The data codes from ecu comes as CAN protocol(something like ftp and USB protocols) and this obd2 controller or sensor we buy can interpret that data

This device is equipped with a Bluetooth transmitter and it sends this data to laptop or phone or whatever..

I Hope you are not in the dark anymore.[emoji23] . Cheers

I'm not saying yu guys are worng or not..
But as for my knowledge there are many fake obd readers available in market..

And on Bluetooth obd readers we cant read/write error codes from our tablets..

But you can read all those data from Bosch readers..
So its definitely a cause of fake obd readers

I didn't know that pulsars were obd2 compliant. Can anyone post a pic of the obd2 port?

Yeah probably... I think Bosch designed the ecu... That must explain it.. Furthermore these are generic adapters supporting lot of protocols and more likely meant for cars.. These are not for bikes I guess..

Since the RS200 is essentially a faired version of the NS, ermmm.... how about CLOTHEDWOLVES??
