Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Remember the blackened disc rotors which i shared? Turns out they are completely normal according to the SVC guys and local mechanic as well. Considering the brakes which are working fine, i am not completely satisfied. Can anyone share the photo of their disc rotor under flash?Originally posted by Minisoda View PostMaybe bro. Motul 7100 20w50-Full synthetic Engine OIl
Hello Folks,
First service done for my RS200

.
Planning to switch to Motul 7100 20w50-full synthetic in second service.
Can anyone share realtime experience that how much fuel economy/average they are getting after using Motul 7100 20w50.
Also I am planning to switch to Motul semi synthetic and then to fully synthetic..Is that good practice or switching directly to Motul fully synthetic would be good?
Appreciate quick response

I've just recently got new brake pads. During the 8000 Kms I've never ever washed the rotor with petrol/kerosene or any other cleaning agent. Hope this helps.
Will you be able to post a video of the installation and maybe cover some of the features of the adapter once you are able to get it to work?Originally posted by kiran.ghogare View PostThanks Bro..will contact to the provider..hopefully I will get some help from him..I got it from dothediy.
And I am aware of warranty terms still taking the risk.

Yes it is trust worthy.. When u order camera choose normal airmail as shipment method.... Do not choose ems.. Otherwise custom might get hold on it n charge u 3k to 4k.Originally posted by Minisoda View Post

[QUOTE=Minisoda;1262208]
Thanks man.. Really appreciate it. The color seems to be similar to mine .Maybe its the case of uneven contact of the pad with the rotor. I'll check my brake pads too and if they are alright too.. nothing more i could do.Last edited by Nakul Bhugra; 11-09-2016, 03:19 PM.TWO WHEELS MOVE MY SOUL.

Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hey guys, i got my first service done on my RS. It has gotten a lot smoother now. But i hate servicing at bajaj. Again ,mechanics are not skilled enough to handle big bikes. They tightened my chain too much resulting in a clicking sound. I loosened it a little and the sound won't go. The SVC says its normal, doesnt look like to me.Any suggestions what should i do? And also what values do you have on either side for the chain?TWO WHEELS MOVE MY SOUL.

I am also facing the chain clicking sound issue. Mechanics at SVC says its normal. The sound is very irritating. One thing I have noticed is that whenever I wash the chain, the sound vanishes but creeps in after a day. I am unable to find a solution for this till now.Originally posted by Nakul Bhugra View PostHey guys, i got my first service done on my RS. It has gotten a lot smoother now. In my bike, the value for chain adjusters is 26. The values has to be same on both the sides.
If you find any solution regarding clicking sound, do let us know.
Hope this helps.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Yeah.. the guys at SVC said the same. They said that it will continue for about 500 kms. After loosening a bit and washing and lubricating it myself, the noise is pretty low now. The main noise is at around speeds of 25-30 when the engine noise is low and gets overshadowed by the engine sound at higher speeds.Originally posted by Rover200 View PostI am also facing the chain clicking sound issue. Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hello guys, I just put Motul 300V in my Pulsar RS200 after 4600 KM. The bike is super smooth and I am loving everything about my bike. The only concern is I didn't read the posts much and here people advice to use semi synthetic oil first and then switch to 100% full synthetic.
I want to know if there is anything to worry about in my case as I am using fully synthetic oil now.

Hello Pal,Originally posted by Dipan12 View PostDon't Worry its the noise coming from the contraction of the metal of the exhaust . I have Yellow Karizma R 2015 , Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 , Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Honda CBR 250R model and ALL have the same noise more or less . During the first 500 KM the noise was more in all the bikes and after wards the noise got lowered and as I changed my oil the engine got smooth , less vibration , smooth ride and less stress on the bike . Don't worry and don't take it to the mechanic they tend to charge for silly problems . In one sentence - YOUR BIKE IS FINE - !!

If you are using Synthetic oil for the first time please use the Semi-Synthetic at first for 2 - 3K KMs after that use any Synthetic oil ! - SPECIALLY FOR RS . I use Shell AX7 10w40 on Karizma R , Motul 300v 10w40 on Pulsar RS 200 , Mobil 1 10w40 on Ninza 300 , and Shell Ultra on Honda CBR 250 .
So after using Motul300V 10W40, did you notice any change in mileage and performance.
What is the draining period of Motul300V 10W40?
Please suggest because I am approaching my RS second service.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
There is nothing wrong with using Synthetic Oil without using semi synthetic first. The engine performs best with synthetic oil so don't worry about anything. Now that you've started using it, keep on using synthetic oil throughout the life of the engine/bike. Hope that helps.
Cheers.
