Make sure not many kms are clocked on the odo, mine had only .5 kms on it, it was just rolled out from the truck.
Makes sure it wasn't a display bike or a TD bike! you can find that by inspecting the tire, foot rest, brake/gear lever rubbers. See if it had fallen down, you will see scratches on the bar end weights and the leg guard.
All electricals should be functional, no funny noises. If something doesnt seem right, dont buy statements like it will be sorted in few kms. yes the bike will vibe a bit and sound lil harsh for a few hundred kms, brakes will take some time to set as well, everything else should be fine from the start.
Oh, another thing, check for the choke! they left it on in my bike and the bike was revving to 2.5K RPM at idle. took a while for me to figure it out as the choke lever is hidden away + i thought this bike had a auto choke like the ol 220.
I got the bike with the eurogrips as well, its not as bad as I expected it. I would suggest you try them and then think of swapping unless you are getting a good deal for the new one or if you are keen on replacing. Wet grip seems to be ok at normal speeds with the Eurogrips.

looking to swap to MRFs soon.
