The irony - no matter how sane i ride or how insanely i rip i still manage 32 33... Talk about consistency.. Hail Bajaj

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
I had my tyres changed at the svc, after which I'm facing a lot of issues
The bearing from the behind wheel needs to be replaced.. My friend noticed that my tyres are not free. When on the main stand the front one doesn't turn freely. It's like it's jammed. I thought that was normal. So we checked other bikes parked around, they were turning without any issues...
Anyone know what could be the issue. The svc 100% will tell Sir naya gaadi. It's normal. Is it?

It could be the disk brakes as well. In my case the calipers needed some adjustment.Originally posted by Vicky_New_Guy View PostI had my tyres changed at the svc, after which I'm facing a lot of issues

1. Super Tight chainOriginally posted by Anubhav M View PostIt could be the disk brakes as well. In my case the calipers needed some adjustment.
2. Bad Bearing
3. Engaged Disc brake ( shoes rubbing against disc )
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
They replaced float valve with new one but problem didnt resolve . Now the problem was either bad valve or bad seat. Former was taken care of but latter is due to manufacturing defect in which no one can do anything but replace.Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostSo finally they replaced the whole carb?. Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
I recently did my first servicing but they didn't change the oil filter only the oil was changed. They dont have the oil filter in stock. What should i do now.. I did my servicing on thursday with 506kms done.now I've completed 595. What should i do with the old filter? Should i get it changed? Which will probably require oil change..or should i change at 1000 kms? Or any other advice??

Dude, it says they should and will replace the oil filter at first service, on your service card. Get it changed ASAP, for free. use the SVC invoice, if it doesnt mention of no oil filter, and point it straight at face of the guy who was incharge of your bike. Be stern, yet put it subtly. This is why bajaj brand sucks at the other half, cant trust these idiots.
If youre in Mumbai, Andheri west, the SVC there is pretty good. I only entrust the bike with just one person I know over there.
Oil filter is easy to replace, do it at home. its a 3 simple step thing - Flush oil, replace filter, tank up wid new oil. USE mineral until 3k (i changed it after 5k)

Okay, even I am hearing the engine sound a bit different since a couple of days. However, I am waiting for the service and did a 750km trip with 100 - 120 kmph for 450kms.
The best part here is even I took the delivery of my bike on 7th dec and guess what I just completed 2700 kms today :P :P :P

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
It definitely should not be the case. Bro the svc guys will come up with tons of excuses to not open the fairing and sometimes even the nlmost ridiculous ones, at times, because they know they cannot charge you the full labor charge.Originally posted by Vicky_New_Guy View PostI had my tyres changed at the svc, after which I'm facing a lot of issues

Be persistent. Plus, if possible if you see any other bikes around compare the rotation of your wheel with theirs and show the svc guys.
Last resort - log a complaint on thr bajaj website. You would get a call from the service center then.
