    Guys,

Can some one post the location of AFR screw in our bike
I want to adjust the carb setting

EDIT : Found it and turned clockwise half for leaner mixture as my bike is getting only 33KMPL

Its right isn't it? Clockwise- leaner and anti-clockwise - Richer

      • Looking for long after market adjustable Brake-n-Clutch Lever

        Hello Guys,

I'm new here, been nearly 8 months with my beloved "Buster". I'm on the hunt for long adjustable brake-n-cluctch levers. Which do I buy, and where can I get em at sweet cheap prices?

Also, has anybody converted to LED headlamps on their AS200?

I've been doing quite some interstate rips. It'd be pretty great if we AS200's went for a long road-trip, and get trippy while at it....

Is there a way to lower the lever and not actuate the rear brake light? Any suggestions would be helpful!
Rear lights turn on the moment when we turn the headlight on.. So you notice even in day time, that is when the headlight switch is off?. I don't have such problem, but I see a rubber contact pressing down whenever the brake lever is pulled. I think it must have been worn out. It goes all the way underneath the brake lever

Ebay is the only place online where you can get adjustable clutch levers. But you have to find a good mechanic to fix it.

Hello all. My bike is two months old and has completed 4100 kms so far. I have a few queries i need assistance with.

            1. I have narrowed down to Motul 5100 15W50 to ditch the dtsi oil. What will be the right time to change to this oil? And is it ok to use 15W50 instead of the recommended 20W50 because this the only one available online and there is no availability in the local market here.

            2. I do a lot of touring which involves night driving as well. I have been trying to find some decent strobe lights for better night time visibility and avoid rear ending but couldn't. Is there a way to blink all four indicators as a hazard light while driving and when parked?
I tired this diy to remove battery saving features to at least turn on the parking lights when parked on the highway at night but could not find the relay he was talking about. Maybe you guys could help me with that.

            3. Has anyone tried using an engine cover/guard for the looks. Were could I find one, maybe online?

            4. Will this ABS be any good for safety?

Stay away from those cheap ABS options. Mostly they're useless. A good standard ABS would require changing and installing a lot of things. Estimated costing may rise up to approximately 15k.

                  - I am currently using that oil, pretty good for raggedy engines like pulsars. Good news - engine runs alot cooler - Vibrations are cut down drastically - Shifts butterly. Bad news - Drops top speeds by couple notches. - With the Motul 7100 I could do near 143's but now its like 138/9ish... Im gonna switch back to 7100, with that the engine runs a little brash and revs faster, but the vibrations are in check with the 5100.

                  2) Strobe lights are uncool - respect other motorists. Trail lights (Red LED blinkers set to low rate blinks) are fine, White and blues are pretty distracting. mount an additional LED Red lamp if scared of being rear ended. Above all , ride safer that you're not reared.

                  Just my views though.

Thank you guys for the quick response. I visited the service center today and he agreed to install a switch for lighting up all four indicators. Will get it done in second service as it requires dismantling the front faring and fuel tank to access the wires. And I had a heated argument With manager when I asked him that when I come for service I will bring my own oil and will not go for dtsi oil. He argued it will void warrenty even if its the same grade oil. Will write to bajaj and ask for clarification regarding that. Also if I switch to motul 7100 is 4100km to early for that? I read somewere that it may cause engine glazing. Dont know what that means though.

4000 kms would be a little early I would say.the 7100 is the perfect oil for AS and it brings a whole lot of new experience into the bike.I changed at 7700 kms and it seems just perfect at that kms.best is to use the dtsi from the SVC till 7500 and then change it from outside .considering 2nd service at 5000 kms the dtsi should hold good for 2500 more kms.

I'd changed to 5100 right after break in. I couldn't handle dtsi oil. The semi synthetic was like a blessing. Glad I made the move.

Not exactly a DIY but you can visit SVC and they can do it.If the SVC guy is a skilled one he can do it without opening the front fairing

Its easy to do it yourself if you have skinny hands like I do. I referred to this picture uploaded by a member on this thread and felt all the things inside the headlight and cramped my hand up to the high beam nut. It will be super tight at first but with a little pressure it will get loose in time.
