Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
The only thing i can think of is the front disk brake oil which you can check on the right handle bar a small reservior with a peak hole to see if you have sufficient oil in it.Originally posted by Vicky_New_GuyBTW the I got the bike in a hurry. Do you get anything else with the bike? Like an owner's guide, user manual and stuff.
I really need to know what part does what and how does it look
You should get an owners manual with free service and paid service leaflets in it. Plus a toolkit with four things in it and tiny medikit. Plus all the necessary paperwork for registering the bike with rto and insurace copy. I got a center stand installed on the bike for additional 700 bucks.

This is very much possible. You wouldn't have noticed the dog doing its thing. They are clever and quick at itOriginally posted by Anubhav M View PostCould it be a stray dog marking its territory on the bike..[emoji14] .?
Doesn't look like anything would've leaked, just get it cleaned and keep riding and check again after riding for a while for traces of any leakage, if you do find then it's an issue to be worried about, if not then keep riding and smiling.

Looks like that. Cause I touched it and tried to smell it. Was very liquidity. Not oily I guess. Hopefully it was just water and not the dog.Originally posted by FuNa View PostThis is very much possible. You wouldn't have noticed the dog doing its thing. They are clever and quick at it

I just checked my delivery receipt. It's got check boxes for toolkit, manual, medikit, insurance cover note but none of them are checked. Will sort it out this Tuesday.
Is it the same toolkit that comes under the seat?
Did anyone get any free stuff with the bike? Anything at all?

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
You sure its Nov 2015 mfd? The SVC has MRP Rs.805 stock but charges Rs.1000 per litre. The only shop that i found stocking motul also raised its price to Rs1050. Both have ~6 month old stock but sell at higher price because they say the new stock price has increased.Originally posted by GauravD View PostBoy oh boy... 1000 bucks a litre for 7100 ??? Dats expensive... I still buy 7100 for my NS at 750 to a liter... :P bought it just the other day... 2015 nov packing as per the can.
Exactly same thought came to my mindOriginally posted by Anubhav M View PostCould it be a stray dog marking its territory on the bike..[emoji14] .?
Yes, the toolkit is the one that is under the seat. just opened it last week. has a screwdriver, a plug wrench and two oddly shaped keys with a ring spanner and a strange cut on the other side.Originally posted by Vicky_New_Guy View PostIs it the same toolkit that comes under the seat?

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Did gou check, if it was oil or water? Can be water trapped inside AS fairing, or stray dog gave your wheel a wash :-)Originally posted by Vicky_New_Guy View Post
I noticed this liquid kind on thing on my tyre when I stopped for a smoke. Bike was parked at a place where I don't think water would've spilled on it.
I'm clueless as to if I it's some kind of fluids leaking from the front end of the bike or am I over thinking?
Someone please help

That's what the SVC claims... I haven't verified this yet. Haven't heard it anywhere else, either :POriginally posted by zequirkynetizen View PostAre you sure it's the fault of the cables?

Thanks a lot! I expect to encounter some snow, so this is really helpful advice. I just hope I can find that grade of oil...Originally posted by vinay3d View Postbro use motul 7100 4T 10W-60 or motul 300v 5w40 for extreme cold weather condition rides, (any 5w or 10w synthetic.. not 15w or 20w+) because you will not have any hassle in start because As200 have only self start, 5w, 10w grades are best built for cold weather.
Explore all Motul products, find the perfect oil for your engine, durable and high-performance products for all cars, motorcycles, heavy-duty vehicles, and bicycles.
thank you

Yup, got the horn changed to the P220's twin setup at the SVC. Can't remember how much that cost (misplaced the receipt - sorry!), but it works fine. A marked improvement over the stock tweeter on the AS. But it's nothing compared to the twin horns from older Pulsars, though - my old P150's setup sounds louder (and better, in my opinion).Originally posted by vinay3d View PostHello friends!
has any one changed the Horn? the horn is annoying, i want to change it with p220s horn. Any Suggestions ??

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
I took my bike to the showroom for registration today... Guess what.. I saw another AS200 with MRF tyres.. I was just telling him I wanted that and they didn't give me and all... He said he'll get it changed... Just like that. He'll get it swapped...

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
hi Guys
I have recently done with 2nd servicing of my AS200. I am not happy with the current suspension. I need to change it to a softer side.
The SVC guys are not ready to adjust it saying that they dont have the spanner with them. I have written a mail to bajaj customer care but no replies yet.
does any1 knows
1) Is it easy to set it up ourselves if we have the right spanner?
2) if I change it to softer side will it have any bad effects while riding at higer speeds(say 80-100)?

You can change it yourself if you have the spanner. You can also try to get the same done from local mechanic, again provided they have the spanner.Originally posted by Abhishek Vaze View Posthi Guys

Changing it won't affect anything for worse, on the contrary it is better. Stock setting was slightly stiff for me. I too got it adjusted to a softer setting. It's much better now.
