I had a huge crush for Pulsar 200ns but unfortunately pulsar halted it's production.... After a long waiting for p200ns at last I bot AS200...
    ENGINE:-
This engine is a familiar engine with lots of positives and a little negatives... Compares to p200ns AS200 engine is refined a lot... The engine is smooth vibs are thr but not that much crazy... Vibs can be felt on the fairing and speedometer console... But the power of the engine will make u to forget the vibs.... It roars like a lions after 70kmph....
    FUEL ECONOMY:-
My bike still in run-in... Was cruising at a speed a speed of 60-70kmph returned me a mileage of 42kmpl... Yeah that's a awesome... At first I changed the afr settings and it gave me a mileage of 20kmpl later today I made a 1.5 anticlockwise turn and gave me 42kmpl.... So never play with ur afr screw....
    BRAKES:-
The brakes are awesome... They match the performance of this bike.... My rear brake tends to heat up a lot... The pad contains some dust particles.... Love this brakes
    TYRES:-
My AS200 came with eurogrip tyres trust me they are not that bad.... The grip is good in dry conditions.... Even in wet conditions they are average...
    Final verdict:-
They are small niggles but they are negligible... They engine heats up soon but remember it's a 200cc chunks out nearly 25bhp and a highly compressed engine with the engine head consists of 3 spares and two intake and outlet values so it tends to heat soon.... But don't worry that is normal the coolant will takecare of that heat..... Lube the chain for a interval of 400km.... Always maintain a same brand petrol.... Use choke during cold mrng start... Don't rev during the mrng....
And really forgive me for my bad English and this is my first review... I will improve my English soon.... Have a nice day frnds
nice man. but one question where u found choke. after 7000km i m still dont know as200 have choke.

I had an issue today with the battery maybe.

I just got the bike today. Took it out with a friend for a short ride. Since I'm still learning the bike stalled a couple of times while putting it in 1st. So I had to use self 4-5 times. It started, no issues.

Then we stopped after a 1 minute ride and I tried to start it again and it wouldn't. The console wouldn't light up as well. My friend said the battery might be dead. So we did dhaka start and rode for a good 6-7 kms which he said was good enough time to charge the battery. Then we stopped and tried to start again and it wouldn't. The console would not light up as well. Again dhaka start and a good 15km ride to home.
Here we tried to start it again. No go. The console would light up and go black and this time we could see the Bajaj logo and battery and those two other indicators.

While we did a dhaka start and rode the bike for such a long time the battery indicator was not lit not was it blinking.

Shouldn't it light up if the battery was low?
Isn't 20kms enough to get the battery charged?
Is it a battery issue or something else?

Would be taking the bike to the showroom on Wednesday as I wouldn't have time tomorrow.
      Anything to keep in mind?

        Hi guys.
Just a small update.i was having the fuel issue again where the fuel would be evaporated from the carb(I think due to faulty float valve in carb) so I logged a complain and got a call from head office to submit the bike for 3 days.
They told they will fix it at any cost.its always effective that way I guess.also I complained about the bike swaying left.if I get a resolution then I shall share it with u all

The front end was feeling tight and unwieldy, so I had the SVC take a look at it. They took the forks off and tried everything (including changing the cone set's ball bearings), but it hasn't really helped. The brake fluid was topped up and brake pads were replaced, which has improved braking performance, but the pads are (again!) brushing against the disc, causing drag on the front wheel.

The SVC says the inconsistent steering behaviour (pulling to left, etc.) is because of the way the clutch cable is routed. Try this - put the bike on main stand, have someone hold down the bike's tail and try swinging the handlebar from left to right, slowly. Mine is sticky on the left side.

There is apparently a fix for this - a different clutch cable, which doesn't foul with the handlebar. The SVC didn't have it in stock.

I have no clue. Might not be an official Bajaj item, but some jugaad from the SVC. It seems they've tried it before, successfully, on the NS.

It was out of stock when I was there, so I'll have to check again later.

NO. It's not about number of kms, but how many hours of constant current charging your battery. 4-5 times continuously on a new bike is not recommended. Need to keep a break of 3 secs between every firing.

12V-8Ah battery when charged with an 1A of current needs complete ~10 hours (80% efficiency) to get fully charge. If the alternator supplies 2A, then it may get down to 6 hours. So your battery needs an hour of charge or hour of ride to get decent amount to fire the starter.

Take the battery out and use a 12V, 1A charger and keep it charged for 10-12 hours. If you don't have an adapter, then tell this to SVC. They will do it for free, but will delay in getting your bike. Typically they will do 8 hours of charging.

General rule is : Lower the charging current, longer the battery life; same holds true for mobile as well

                        Thanks bro.
Today I got a call stating that its resolved .when asked they told they opened the carb and did everything to find out but couldn't any.I rejected saying it's not resolved as opening the carb doesn't fix it.later I disagreed to sign and they told the technical head is called for this purpose to fix but will be available on Monday.
So on Monday I will be going and explaining the problem and hope for a resolution.
They have given me the bike and told to try and see if issue is resolved. Although chances are zero for it getting resolved now as whatever they did has already been done twice and it didn't .Still let's see.next update will be on Monday as to what they will do to fix it!

Sure. When the cable is in stock, I'll post pictures (and the relevant part number if possible). As of now, I have no clue what cable it is
