Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
A 1000 likes !!!Originally posted by AmanZ View PostHi Bikers,
I m reading lots of problems here and also see some guys not considering to buy AS200..its not the case.. I have owned hero Hunk for 2 years and have faced many issues with Honda engine as well...
Almost all bikes have their problems which come up when run in period is on. That is the reason experts say that during Run In time the bike should be used Single handed (Only by One person) once the run in is done the bike settles down and its real potential comes out... Its the way we guys deal with the problems matters... Even P220 tread will be full of problems and all it does not mean that it is a Bad machine..
So guys lets be positive on it and not demotivate the ones looking for AS200..
Cheers!

I pray to God I walk away...
I walk away to ride another day

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
I changed my tires to Michelin 110, 140 front and back respectively. Have done 4k kms in it. No issues and excellent grip. Go for it.Originally posted by nikx3392 View PostSVC told me we need to pull swing arms outwards to fit bigger tier which will result in bad handling and poor performance of bike and its irreversible action.
please be careful and update me also if i m wrong and Ur able to fit 140 even i wanna go for it

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
What tyres do you suggest (in the same size as the stock Eurogrips)? I've heard that the R15 V2.0's rear MRF Rev Z is a good match... what about the front?Originally posted by kany1991 View PostBut don't go with Michelin pilot "sporty" made in India its same as euroslip [emoji40]

For the front you can try mrf fy 100/80, fy1 110/70, fy2 100/80, or if you can find it the revz fc 110/70. I'm using fy1 and its good.
For rear mrf revz s 130/70 or revz c 150/60. I'm using revz s and its much better than the euroslip.
Haven't had any experience but I've heard good things about Michelin pilot STREET tyres.

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
I would like to stick to the stock size (100/80-17) for the front. From the MRF website, it seems that I have three choices - Zapper FX (Gixxer), FX1 (FZ) and FY2.Originally posted by guptavis View PostFor the front you can try mrf fy 100/80, fy1 110/70, fy2 100/80, or if you can find it the revz fc 110/70. Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Use a glove + Handlebar grip + thick insole shoe will help you a LOT (Trust me...!!!). Motul 5100 doesn't bring much smoothness. I think the grade is 15W50 which isn't compatible with 20W40 which Bajaj recommends. This essentially is creating some viscosity changes. I actually felt a bit harsh after moving to 5100 and now I'm back to Bajaj which I feel decent. You might want to try 7100 which has the same grade as Bajaj oil, but I don't want to roll out few thousands for that...!!!Originally posted by zequirkynetizen View PostDamn the vibs are killing me! My feet and hands just keep vibrating along with the bike too at 4k 5k rpm. I changed to motul 5100 15w50 too. Still it's vibrating like crazy! The vibs around visor has reduced. But it's started from fairing
