    Neither of excess is good.

Richer means - Too much Fuel but improper burning. Rich mixtures are less efficient, but may produce more power and burn cooler, which is kinder on the engine.

Lean Mixture - Lean mixtures are more efficient but may cause engine damage or premature wear and produce higher levels of nitrogen oxides.

Proper AFR calibration is critical to performance and durability of the engine and it's components. The AFR defines the ratio of the amount of air consumed by the engine compared to the amount of fuel

I tried tuning afr screw. Turned it clockwise till it went all the way in then turned it back exactly two turns counterclockwise. I will go on a 50km drive tomorrow to check the performance and also get the stupid leaning left issue inspected at the nearest crappy svc there is and hear what they have to say. Also my rear tyre is not free and some squeeking noise from rear disk so will get that fixed as well.

Would like to share a funny incidence...as my bike was going left when leaving the handle the mechanic went for a run and came back and asked "pehle se ho raha hai ya abhi hona shuru hua". To that i replied from last 100km. He smiled and loosend the front wheel kicked the rim two or three times and then tightnened the nut. Now the bike is going dead straight 😝. Also he tuned the afr for low pickup problem will check in a few days as there is no place for enthusiastic riding nearby.

Since the AS and the NS use the same heart, a tuning of 3 - 3.5 turns anti from the point of shutting off should do the trick for you.

However, the best way is go for CO tuning. This is THE most accurate way of carb tuning. Ask the svc guys to set it between 1.4 to 1.6 and you would rollicking back home with a wickedly wide grin on your face.

The only challenge - finding an svc which has the CO machine. I had to try 4 different service centres for finding who had the machine.

The factory setting is 2.5-3.0 turns outward which seems optimal. Plus the CO level should be 1.5-2.5. Higher this value, more the mixture being rich. I think the permissible value for two wheeler in India is 3.5 or 4.0 for Carbon Monoxide.

Yeah that's true, not all SVC has this, which is bad. But this should be mandatory.

Okie done... I will set it to 2.75 .... And what petrol do u recommend??? And I dunno this is a problem or not.. When my engine is cooler it sounds normal... When it get heated up the sound from the head of the engine gets increased.... And something is vibrating near the engine I can't figure out it.... Again these are not serious problem... AS200 is a amazing machine and the engine quality is above average

Yeap quality is mediocre and we have to accept the fact. By the way, the sound could be tappet noise as it comes out easily when hot. As you say it's from head of the engine. It's not a big deal. Get it fixed at your next service. Using a SOHC on a heavy compression engine is one major reason that gives way for frequent tappet clearance adjustment. But unfortunately the SVC are not that good at adjusting the tappet or the carb unit.

All they do is, change oil, replace spares, water wash, and charge premium amount

Today, you have nothing else to compete with AS200 for value for money and the performance Vs money point of view. But that'll not be the same tomorrow, esp with TVS Apache 200 ABS.

You can wait for 200NS FI, which might take couple of months to get some news. Also advice you to wait till Jan 20 (Apache 200 launch date) unless you hate TVS. It has some good impressions and comes with Full ABS, also rumored about performance equivalent to Duke 200.

No 2.75 is way way too much.
Make it exactly to 1.61 and then see the wonders
