    Hi Roy..

The buzzing sound comes from the fairing.. Same issue is with my bike... Adding double tape between the console gaps helps a bit..
No other solution to it.. And now i m used to it...

Can you tell me which bike has better headlights than the AS. Which city are you from?

        1. Got grip covers on the handle grips, vibrations are still making my hand numb.
        2. Bike revs like it is at 100-110 at 5-6k rpm but is actually at 78km/hr.
        3. When I twist the accelerator at 4th or 5th gear, the engine picks up and then suddenly the engine feels as if its choking so I have to twist more to get power.
        4. It is difficult to keep the accelerator steady at low gears and speed, the bike ain't smooth and knocks. Have to use clutch often to keep it flowing.
        5. Rear view mirrors are pathetic and its difficult to keep them at one position as they change angle all by themselves because of vibrations.
        6. The most worrying issue stands right now is the handling of the bike. The dhak dhak noise when taking pot holes, artificial speed breakers or when dropping from step like surface remains. No one was able to resolve the issue, the handle when turned hard right gets stuck on the right and then clocks as if something is blocking its free movement. It scares me to open up on asphalts, though the speed is at 134 max.
        7. The wheels are free, both front and back, no lag, no jamming, no noise.
        8. The chain has slack but sounds as good as new.
        9. Tanks have 2 liters of fuel always (I fill it up when the indicator blinks).
        10. Current mileage is at 32, I ride at average speed of 80km/hr, low gears mostly.
        11. Console vibes are evident, 4-4.5rpm even the foot pegs become viby and teh drop of power as mentioned earlier is felt at the right hand side foot peg mostly.
        12. Headlights are useless on highways and normal roads because they seem dim compared to street lights.
        13. Seats are getting more uncomfortable day by day and Gel ain't an option for me. I need custom made seats like the Benelli, any advice?
        14. No SVC is capable of handling problems, the bajaj customer care sits dumb and very difficult to find a mechanic in mjy area for such equipment.

I need a lot of help from you guys so kindly start helping me here or I may sell it off. The 90K Hornet is more fun than my 1.24k Pulsar.
The 3rd problem which u have is same with me and i haven't got any solution for that . Somebody help please.

          RE, YAMAHA, HONDA, BENELLI, KTM.
They all have relatively better visibility in their stock headlamps. You can see the road unlike that of bajaj bikes.

They are fairing vibes. Tighten the Fairing nuts or insert double sided tape.

Come to the technical specifications. The AS has 55watt bulbs and has a projector (Google it, for advantages of a projector), where as the Hornet (which you are planning to switch to) has 35 watt bulb, which means the Pulsar's headlights are not bad.
The issue is : By default, most Pulsar AS come with the headlights pointing towards the sky, which indeed lowers the light focus on the road. Try to find the adjustment screws and turn it clockwise to lower the beams for desired focus.

            13. Seats are getting more uncomfortable day by day and Gel ain't an option for me. I need custom made seats like the Benelli, any advice?
Get seat customized at a local seat shop and add some extra cushion.

Nobody here cares whether you prefer the Hornet or the Pulsar.

If you're talking about bikes till 1 lac, no one else has better lights.

My friend's got a Fazer.. Good light sticks compared to mine... Duke 200 just a little better (for the extra cost)
              Hornet, Gixxer no chance

I rode in a group with all these bikes in the night on NH66 and they all were jealous of Duke and my lights... Trust me what lights we have is more than enough to cruise at 80 in the night

I am INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATED that I bought this UTTER PILE OF SHITE.

Coolant topped up at 400 km.Like all the way to the top. Above the maximum mark. All the way to the point where it would take no more.
Now the odo stands at 800 km. And the coolant looks like it will need a top up after another say 200 km.

And I park my bike for, like, days, and not a single leak. So its consumption.

I mean ****ing hell. Even a Koenigsegg doesnt drink like 700 ml of coolant in like 400 km.

If you're OK with a well-made seat cover with an additional foam insert, there's a guy on Anwar Shah Road, opposite the cluster of bike repair stalls (near Navina Cinema). Ask specifically for higher-quality, thick foam. Do NOT let the guy glue the foam to your seat.

Cost me Rs. 500 in January (rider+pillion seat). Neat job - will post pictures as soon as I can.

I did an 1,800 km trip after getting the seat cover, and it was extremely comfortable - for me, at least. Everything else hurt at the end of the day, but not my behind
                  .
                  .
                  .
PS - You need to give the seat cover/foam at least 7-10 days of regular riding for it to settle.

There is something wrong with the coolant. Also it should not be filled completely. Check with your SVC. Mine lasting for about 5k kms now and only half filled.

                      Hi..

Might be a Chance your Coolant seal may be damaged and the coolant is mixing with Engine Oil...

Check for engine oil level... If the oil level meter is filled completely and is of Coffee Color... Then surely the coolant is mixing with your engine oil and needs to be replaced...

I also faced the same issue after my ride to Kerala.. recently got that done.. You can claim under warranty from authorized service center..

                      Cheers 🍻

Im wondering.. if the AS heats up more than the NS though logic would say yes. Ive done 17k on my NS with not even a coolant top up although I am gonna be flushing it out and refilling. But even due to the fairing i dont suppose that 5k could drink up half the coolant, maybe grossly wrong though.

There are lot of factors depending on it...

The weather conditions, Riding style..Riding on highways or city traffic.. Off roads.. Etc..

Riding in Summer and in city traffic heats up the engine and radiator fan is turned on more often resulting in more use of coolant and while Highway riding with decent speed wont.. If you gun your bike and use its top end more that also heats the engine leads in coolant usage..

AS200's engine shares the same engine and power /torque figures that of NS and is optimized and tuned for the added fairing weight as compared to NS.. which does makes a difference..

Thank you Sal for taking out time to address my issues.
                            1. I will have the Air-Fuel Ratio Nut Adjusted from SVC.
                            2. I have seen a custom Seat job site and I am consulting them (Gel+Foam).
                            3. Solution to lights was advised as Philips X-Extremevision H7 bulbs.
                            4. I was asked about bikes and not budgets so I reciprocated in kind. I mentioned the problem is with Vapour Street Lights vs Bike lights and not about visibility on dark roads.
                            5. I know it doesn't matters to anybody what I do with my bike. Referring to Hornet was an example, I would rather buy a TNT25 or Mojo instead.
                            6. Half of the issues are still open for assistance.

                            Thank you. Ride Safe.

My Bajaj Pulsar 200AS has clocked 7500 kms. Engine vibration has increased post 5000rpm. There is loss of power at high rpm and tha tachometer needle vibrates crazy. Changed my engine oil at 7000 but still get those vibrations. I have taken toh the bajaj svc and made adjusted the Tappet Valve Clearance which has lessened the vibration a bit but still has vibes. 😖
