After 11 months of absolutely zero incidents, i had my first fall off of this bike. This Dominic Torreto of an asshole in an Innova thinks he too can ride the side lanes...and the moron has to use the phone while at it. he doesn't see me standing for the signal, Rams ****in into me. Damages - Just the left side mirror, the clutch lever, and the Number plate takes the dent. NO Damages other than that. The bike, except for the mirror and looked spanking perfect.

BUT, a while later i hear the fan come on quite often, i stop to check it out and find that the coolant has dissappeared. The Oil window is now all smogged up, the damn coolant got sucked into the engine block. Probly the o-ring and rubber bush popped inside the water pump, coz i know for sure that the water pump impeller is driven by the balancer shaft. So had to can the plans i had for the movie i was going for, and headed straight to the SVC. The guy over there says it'll be fixed and is covered under engine warranty.

What i wanna ask is, did any of you guys face such an issue? How much does it cost if not under warranty, and the kind of time it takes to sort this mess out???

      Hi xplod566,
I did check the tire pressure. Front was 28.9 and rear was 24.3. Filled up the rear one and checked the free-ness on road. I didn't find any improvement.

      Let us know the results.
      Hi vvk19999,
I did removed the front caliper as well, and the wheel is nice and smooth without the caliper on it. Putting back the caliper does put some Resistance to wheel, may be around 4-5% than without caliper.

I also showed it to a roadside mechanic near my old office whom I trust a bit. He said this is not an issue, happens with Bajaj bikes with front disc brake.

So I think, I will have to live with that.

Remove the air from front hydraulic disc system. Resistance will come to minimum .

Guys I need some assistance. I had mentioned earlier in this forum I am thinking of switching engine oils to Motul because the bike is becoming viby and rough. Today after washing the bike I checked the engine oil level and to my shock I couldn't find any in the indication window. I had to lean the bike slightly right to see the oil come in to the window. I tried shaking the bike, tried warming up the engine and all sorts of things to make sure the oil is in the base for correct level. But it still does not appear in the window.
Also in the past few refueling cycles I have seen noticeable drop in fuel efficiency. I do high speed highway runs for an average 50 km daily and the temperatures are soaring as high as 44 degrees.
My last service/oil change was at 4000km and now am at 6800km. Currently running dtsi oil.
Engine all viby, engine oil disappearing, dropped fuel efficiency, is it an indication of some oil leaking into the cylinder?
I am really scared of an engine overhaul as the bike will never be the same once it gets opened up.

Dtsi oil isnt that bad, but motul is very better. Running with less oil will Give your ride harsh and jam gearsgifts. So, either change new oil and observe for few 100km. If you have clocked more than atleast 6-7k kms, motul 7100 will give some improvement. Until 4000-5000 km, use bajaj oil. Life time of bajaj oil is 1500-2000 km approx.

Just waiting for amazon delivery to come in. Will switch the day my shipment arrives. Drain interval 1500 to 2000 is way too less considering bajajs claims of dtsi oil drain period of 10000kms.

Guys has anyone tried fixing the ridiculously hard suspension of this bike(its on softest setting)? I have not seen NS200 users complain much about suspension. Could I get some after market mono shock for the bike maybe from NS or any other bike? I came back from a 300km ride out of which half of the journey was on almost no roads and I had a really bad saddle sore. Today drove my friends Hero Xtreme and it felt like I was riding on air as compared to my bike. How could one possibly tour with such stiff suspension. The last option left would be to shell out another 2500Rs and get a gel seat online. Any thoughts or experiences??

Even Ns200 has stiff suspension. Seat modification will do the trick

There would be a bush (the end where the suspension is bolted on to the swing arm) which when replaced makes things much better. I had same stiff suspension issue and changed the bush on my FZ. Voila!! things are much better now.

True, most "branded" exhausts available under 10k are most likely replicas of famous brands like Akrapovic, Two brothers, Yoshimura, etc.

Can we have the Mark exhausts shipped anywhere in India? Any idea on returns, warranty, etc?
