I need suggestions on few things guys:

    1. I am still facing issues with the loose handle assembly feeling. I am unable to find confidence is riding at speeds more than 70km/hr. The bike bounces like a 100CC bike on the flyovers, uneven roads and tends to loose grip on crosswinds.
    2. Lot of irritating vibration on the handle bar, the vibration numbs my palms and makes it very very uncomfortable for me to ride for more than 20 minutes.
    3. Rear view mirrors vibrate a lot and makes it difficult for me to see on low gears and high revs.
    4. Light bulbs need to change, the low beam is like in the middle of high and low and irritates oncoming driver, I am unable to see anything on road as there is no brightness. Highbeam is signalling to autobots though its helpful on highways to pass the truckers.
    5. Help me with a helmet lock, my fiance rides with me often and it becomes difficult for me to take her helmet as I have to carry it hanging at my forearm. If I clip it at the grip above the tail lights, it leaves scratched on the body and tail light. It fell once on the highway because the bike bounces around on a flyover joint at 70 to 90 km/hr.

Frankly guys, I am unable to find any joy in riding my bike. I bought a 200CC beast for a reason. I keep it like a princess, get it cleaned professionally every week, cover it everynight with a heavy duty bike cover (believe me it's so good that the my neighbors who have RE350 & 500s have asked me to get them) keep it on idle before riding it and at the end of the day. I do not switch off the engine if I am not gonna wait for more than 2 minutes. I always ride with atleast 4 liter fuel in the tank but, it seems as if something is gravely missing. There is no smoothness, mushyness of suspension. It just drops on every breaker, pot hole, flyover joint and wobles like a platina at 70km/hr.

Let me know guys what I can do to bring things back to track. Thanks guys.

    - That much vibrations could mean one too many things dude.. probly the spark plug is faulty (there are 3, a big one and 2 smaller ones, check the larger), check the wiring to the plugs, check for cam chain issues , see if the motor mounts are intact. Check for the fuelling/throttling, tune it properly. If these are the cases then probly your engine should sound a little harsh and go too bumpy on initial accel. I get vibrations only after 70Ks maybe, and mirrors stay still even at 100ks (well not too much, but i can clearly see the faces whos tailin me). Running on Bajaj Oil ive noticed the engine to vibrate more, compared to the Motul 7100 im currently running.

    - My advice, get it to a proper mechanic u trust.....idiots at the SVC are major morons. Riding with a corrupt engine is no passing issue..get it fixed properly.

    - Stock bulbs are stupidity in the city (unless its pitch dark). Ive been using the phillips diamond vision for quite some time now....works wonders...well, maybe too much.

    - Suspensions, well from what you explain, the front has a little mushyness to it...i got mine reworked. I guess the front end is bit too heavy.

    - For the Helmet holder you could go DIY on it....i guess you could get a L-piece strip of metal clamped to one of the grab-rails, and tether the helmet there with a wire lock.

Hello folks. Sorry if this question sounds extremely noob-ish but it's been 34 days since I got my bike and I got a message from Bajaj asking me to come for the first service. Now the thing is, I've just completed 75 kilometers till now due to frequent trips out of the city and also since the bike has been stabled at a relatives place due to renovation work at my home. My question is, do I need to go for the service now with just 75KM on the odo or once I complete 500 kilometers which I hope to do within a month?

      Thanks and regards.

1st Service should be done in 500 kms 30 days, whichever comes early. So 30 days have finished, you should go for service. If we go by book.

Now if you don't go for service, chances are that thy might not give you warranty.

If you want to extend your 1st service, try to.speak to the service manager, hope he/she extends it.

        Cheers,
        Sanjay

You are blocking part of your radiator with those horns.

Cold start should be near 1000 rpm
                          After riding 1500

Do you really need that much horn? I'm using a P220 horn which is more than enough. What was Bajaj thinking with our horns? It just sucked.. Big time... But P220 is good enough.
