Drop in a complaint on the Bajaj website.
That did the trick for me and they sent the parts to the service centre within 2 days.
Crap customer service by Bajaj. After finally getting through on phone I was informed that the dealers have to wait for upto 45 days for it. When I asked how will I ride my bike without parts I got an awesome reply.

"Parts me bina toh bike chalti nahi, itna hi bike ka shauk hai toh dhaka marao"

      Kudos Bajaj.

You mean, throttle-brake lever?. I've been using three for brake and two for throttle in City. It was painful for few days, but now it has become usual. It helps in maintaining braking ratio during panic. Plus, my gloves help reduce the pain.

Yea... Thumb and index around throttle and rest on brake.. Been using it for years... Takes some practice but its damn comfortable once you get used to.

Yes. Join HVK Forum on FB. Register for basic services before a trip by paying nominal charges. You'll find details on FB itself.
They help you with route plans and even hotel bookings if needed. You get constant route/traffic updates on your phone via sms/whatsapp throughout your journey.

                Hope this helps.

I m planning to fit Mark Performance Exhaust system.. They are based in Mumbai, Worli. Exclusive Exhaust manufacturer with Bend pipe.. Attached is the Image of their Collection.. The Small tin bottle is the one I like the most.. And is the Loudest..

They can be easily Fit in Pulsar AS, NS and RS.. Check out their page on FB..

If you plan to sell the bike say around 2 or 3 years down the line.. and upgrade to a New beast.. I would suggest don't go for Aftermarket or any other modification..

I intend to keep My AS200 for atleast 5 to 7 years..

Its Bajaj dude..even if the warranty voids.. The service backup is still good and affordable as well.. Dont worry much about the Warranty..

                    Cheers

Whoa! those are some awesome exhausts bro! They come with the bend-pipe as well?
I eventually plan to upgrade in 2~3 years though. Why do you suggest not modding the exhaust in that case?

When I eventually plan to sell it, can't I re-fit my the original exhaust go back to stock?

I am glad you are ok and unhurt. By the look of the accident it sure seems that you are blessed indeed dear friend. As a fellow rider and well wisher my friend, respect your ride, don't take the risks on roads, you don't need to prove anything to anybody. Rest yourself well if you plan long rides and take caution and suggestions from experience riders if you have doubts. Hope your beast recovers well and will be restored to its glory soon. Ride Safe Brother!

Mine changes exactly as how you interpreted. Low gears, high rev and it increases to 1.8 from 1.4. I thought it was abnormal but, thank you I am able to take sigh of relief.

                          ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

I need suggestions on few things guys:

                          1. I am still facing issues with the loose handle assembly feeling. I am unable to find confidence is riding at speeds more than 70km/hr. The bike bounces like a 100CC bike on the flyovers, uneven roads and tends to loose grip on crosswinds.
                          2. Lot of irritating vibration on the handle bar, the vibration numbs my palms and makes it very very uncomfortable for me to ride for more than 20 minutes.
                          3. Rear view mirrors vibrate a lot and makes it difficult for me to see on low gears and high revs.
                          4. Light bulbs need to change, the low beam is like in the middle of high and low and irritates oncoming driver, I am unable to see anything on road as there is no brightness. Highbeam is signalling to autobots though its helpful on highways to pass the truckers.
                          5. Help me with a helmet lock, my fiance rides with me often and it becomes difficult for me to take her helmet as I have to carry it hanging at my forearm. If I clip it at the grip above the tail lights, it leaves scratched on the body and tail light. It fell once on the highway because the bike bounces around on a flyover joint at 70 to 90 km/hr.

Frankly guys, I am unable to find any joy in riding my bike. I bought a 200CC beast for a reason. I keep it like a princess, get it cleaned professionally every week, cover it everynight with a heavy duty bike cover (believe me it's so good that the my neighbors who have RE350 & 500s have asked me to get them) keep it on idle before riding it and at the end of the day. I do not switch off the engine if I am not gonna wait for more than 2 minutes. I always ride with atleast 4 liter fuel in the tank but, it seems as if something is gravely missing. There is no smoothness, mushyness of suspension. It just drops on every breaker, pot hole, flyover joint and wobles like a platina at 70km/hr.

Let me know guys what I can do to bring things back to track. Thanks guys.

                            Dear All,
I too own a As200. Has clocked 4k. Had my second service done. And at the SVC from where i bought my bike, these folks are dumb and hardly listens to the exact word of the customers. Since I am fade up with the guys, I wanna know how to remove the side covers. I tried removing two star headed screws, after removing the main seat. Just couldn't figure it out how to remove them at last. Is it similar to old pulsar's where there was a plug fittted in rubber grommet. I couldn't gather the courage to pull the side cover with force so left it as is. If anybody knows please help me out.

P.S. Every time i have tried to observe the bike by removing some parts, i happened to found loose screws trapped in gaps. I have no idea where the belong.

I also read that it will void the warranty! What is the AS's warranty duration? 1 or 2 yrs? Any help would be deeply appreciated
I too gonna change my exhaust.. i found akraprovic and leo vince in our nearby modification shop.. in my earlier posts images are there.. check it out...

The side covers are fitted into the rubber gommets. One is under the tank which is like a hook and the other is on the right hand side of the panels. Gently but firmly, pull the panel from right side first and then from the left side. The trick is that you pull the panel from the gommet from the right and you slide it out firmly from the left gommet. Follow it as stated, right first then left as you face the panel.
                                Safe riding.
