A question came in my mind that what are the symptoms that will tell me that i need a valve clerance adjustment rather than clik clik sound.

Good thing you're alive. Most importantly you could have messed up big and including somebody elses life too bro, thats uncool. Sleep on the bed, on the bike...well you found out the hard way..... Pains to see the bike that way, hopefully it is all fixed up good soon. Safe Riding bruh!!!

I'm glad nobody is hurt, except maybe the ego.
Brush it off. Hopefully the bike gets restored to past glory.
Get yourself new riding apparel including the helmet. Also, it would be wise to invest in safety gear for the lower torso too.
There is a small mistake people commit before going on long rides. They sleep very little. Also, just one night of 8 hours sleep won't cut it. Atleast initially. Sleep for >6 hours for 1 week straight before the trip.
          Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
Because everyone who passes, isn't a martyr!

Glad to see you safe. Don't compromise on your sleep when you are touring. This could have been worse the way you have described and yes buy leather gloves and quality knee guards or even a riding pant. Ride safe.

Breaking is all about how skilled you are when it comes to panic situation. There are certain things like 70% front 30% rear but when it comes to panic situation it doesnt work.
Now to nullify that you should always (And always) use both the breakes. This gives more balance to bike and even on panic breaking you know that both the breakes are engaged.Normal human habits. Also during Panic one presses the rear break completely.Avoid it completely.Thats why i urge to use both breaks all the time.

Also keep 2 fingers on the front break always. That helps you not to press the front break completely during panic. And if you feel like during breaking you have to press the front completely like during panic situations, avoid it.Wait till the very last moment to hit the breaks completely(As if you are about to hit the beck of the vehicle in front of you but you wont.Increase the pressure more thenearer you come)

If possible go to an open area in the morning, set a target that you want to apply breaks at that particular point, and when you do it dont plan in advance.Think act in a span of 1-2 seconds even if u r at good speeds, coz thats the time one gets during panic situations)
              hope it helps bro :-)
Totally agree with the two finger on brake rule, in fact, i use three on the brake. I keep the index finger and thumb wrapped around the throttle and the rest three on the brake lever which assist me in case of acceleration with twisting the throttle at the same time making sure i am ready for braking if the need be.

However, unless you can do it well and your coordination is fast, you could end up not closing the throttle while braking thereby reducing the effect of the braking altogether. Practiced it on closed tracks before taking it out on the streets but it has seemed to work well for me.

Ps. You may need some practice not jamming up your front wheels when braking with the last three fingers.

Talk about timing bro.I was for the 1st time trying it today while going to office and it felt more comfortable using 3 fingers.

Where i struggled was how to keep the Hand in throttle. As u told i was struggling when decelerating.Do i need to hold it even loosely?

I bent my back wheel alloy going over a pothole, which caught me offguard.

It is a small bend which has created a small gap in the seal and now air is leaking.

Anyway now I want to get it fixed can anyone tell me where can I get is fixed in bangalore.

Sent from my GT-I9500 using xBhp Connect mobile app

Can you share some pic. Also i think you might have to replace it.its very hard to fix a bent alloy or else air keeps on leaking.

Visit the Auto Service Banshankari 2nd stage. If they can fix its good or else they would ask you to claim for insurance and get it replaced.

My as200 is giving a weired problem i.e when i start my bike put it in 1st gear and release the clutch it shuts down or i have to press the cluth and accelerate fast to move . Hey guys. Now that I have completed 6500km on the bike the hunt for engine oil has began. I am still confused between Motul 5100 and 7100. The later will burn a bigger hole in my pocket but as the reviews say it will be better for highway runs. But 5100 runs smoother as all say. A bit confused which way to go. Planning to switch oils post 7000km. Also due to non availability of oils here in the market I will be ordering them through amazon.

                              Are these prices genuine???

The only niggle as of now is the faring noise, I just cant locate were the buzz is coming from, the only guess is the handle bar but I have tightened everything on the handles still the buzz. Any ideas would be appreciated.
The bike has been giving me a constant 37 after redlinig in every gear and 40+ with sane riding.

Its sad to see this gem of a bike to fail in sales as stated on this site. The bike did not even make it to the list of models in bajaj segment. I wonder if this bike will share the fate of Honda CD dazzler/Trigger. Infact were ever I read this bike never gets mentioned for its reliability, VFM or anything else. Hope there wont be a scarcity of parts in the future.

Hey bro... how you doing ? When I first started out with this even I used to face the same issue as you are facing with this new technique. You need to grip the throttle a little loose and make sure that the body weight under normal riding is slightly above the horizontal median of the throttle. You may think that your body will not get enough support by doing this when riding normally. Wrong - the inertia of motion due to which your body moves backwards during motion is more than enough to provide support.

In this position when you brake and your body moves forward under inertia of motion, due to your weight being on the section above the median the throttle automatically drops. Took me a while to figure this one out by hit and trial but once I did and practised it a lot I can virtually count on this technique now.

Never had even close to a wheel lock up, by the grace of the Almighty, using this technique under panic braking.

                                1. Motul 7100 is the best you can for your bike. If you take into consideration the cost factor and the change intervals it turns out to be a way more better proposition than the default DTSi oil. 7100 can easily last for atleast 5.5k - 6k kms between changes whereas the DTSi lasts for about 2k. So bro you could well see that you would be spending atleast 1200 bucks for 6k kms.

                                2. The Amazon prices are cheaper than what you would get in the open market. I just bought 7100 for 800 to a liter in Gurgaon.

                                3. The fairing noise -- welcome to bandwagon my friend. Never been able to figure where exactly that comes from. What I did was take apart EVERYTHING made of plastic like the fairing, headlights etc etc of my NS and then put everything back together again using double sided tape and washers etc. It does help a lot - you could give it a shot too mate.

Any other questions feel free to holler bro !

As per me bro, from what I could make out, its more a case of the improper gear being chosen to ride up the slope. Try shifting a lower gear instead of half clutching. I am sure that you would know half clutching also affects your clutch plates. Plus you may want to get your clutch tightened a bit.

Forgive me if I misinterpreted your post.
