IMO it is recommended that you stick to DTSI for another couple of thousand kilometeres atleast. Let the mineral oil work in smoothening out the internals for now. Switch to 5100 at around 5-5.5k. If you want to switch to 7100 wait till you hit 8k on the odo. Trust me bro the wait will pay off pretty damn well.

If you still want to switch to 5100 right now you can make the engine oil change outside however make sure to change the oil filter each time. But that would mean recording of a "no engine oil change" on your service booklet. Its sad that bajaj ass guys are just so reluctant to let the user switch to Motul or any other apart from their own oil.

I bought my AS200 from khivraj bajaj( Thousand lights ), Chennai. I had that innate left leaning problem.

I even reported this problem to them a week after buying for which they said its not a big deal and will be sorted out in first week, now after raising a complaint with Bajaj, they asked me to leave the bike.

Its been 3 weeks they haven't fixed the problem, they even replaced T-stem and fork tubes, which they( the persons name is Mohan) claimed its been bent due to a fall and not covered in warranty.

Issue still not resolved, they are not ready to give the bike either as i need to pay for the replacement.

Please help me out guys, should i ask them to replace the original parts and leave ?

I already feel like i am being cheated and worried that they would mess up the bike, as i had a rough conversation with Mohan as he kept saying tomorrow we will start to work on the bike for past 4 days.

That is not good to hear..

Complain to Bajaj regarding the same.. And keep a Recording of the phone conversation with Mr. MOHAN as a proof and take pictures of the bike of work not done and send to Bajaj...

Complaints are taken seriously by Bajaj..and repeat Complaints will kick the service centers ass..

These things are done with rough Conversation only...

Wait for another week after re-complaining.. Still the problem not resolved... Search for Another authorized Service center which has good rapport A little far away will do.. And get it done from there..

Hope this helps.. It will cause a little waste of time and trouble.. But certainly looks as one solution to this..

            Cheers 🍻

              A Quick question guys..

Just rode the Pulsar RS 200 and felt in Love with its Firing and exhaust Note...

Can we fit RS 200's Exhaust system in AS200? If yes.. Then who can do that.. In Mumbai.. And what will be the Cost for it...?

              Thanks in Advance

Firstly check with any SVC in Mumbai and see if they are ready to do it.
If not, then head to Kurla CST road and buy the exhaust. Your trusted local mechanic should be able to do it.

Things are pretty slow from here on. Firstly, make sure you have a recording (audio/video) of the dude who spoke to you, make sure it's clear. Second, mail it to bajaj, and keep on mailing, until you have a valid response. If you don't get any response out of it. Start mailing it to consumer rights forum, and next cc them to bajaj. This is a huge and slow shit-storm. Also if he is so adamant about asking other AS owners, then ask him to furnish numbers of people who booked AS bikes from that dealer.

Bajaj usually replies though (i dunno about the current response times) , ive seen my cousin face issues a year ago, and they replied promptly.

Hey guys would this bulb make any difference. i am planning to get it for the projector assembly?
I hope the reflector does not melt with the extra heat. Do I need to remove the tank and the cover as well to remove the front headlight assembly for changing the bulbs or can the headlight assembly be removed without any hassle?

Also some people suggested me not to go with Motul 7100 straight from dtsi and suggest I use semi synthetics first. I was planning to switch at around 7000 kms. I have done 6500 as of now.
Also will there be any boost with K&N filter? I read somewhere that KN filters simply have a larger mesh so allow a little more impurities into the engine which may reduce engine life in the long run.

You can get LED Lights as they will not need for any cutting and come with standard adapters.

The Cyclops is top of the line costing around 6000/- or you can get the V16 Turbo which are almost that good at around 1500-2000/-

They are safer as well and operate at lower temperatures giving out better light. Check the bike lighting thread for more info here.

For your K&N query there is a wealth of information here
When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

I guess for me these are highly overpriced. I did not find V16 turbo anywhere online for less than 4000/- Plus even if they say it is direct fit the huge ballast on the tail of the bulb will not allow the sealing rubber to cover the rear of the reflector and may lead to mist formation inside the reflector housing.
So I was thinking of getting a higher wattage bulb but not sure if the reflector would be able to take the heat.

For K&N filter the thread has mixed reviews. Some say they got 25% boost which I highly doubt. There seems no definite answer to this. Is there?

My AS200 doesn't feel free enough. If you press the clutch and let the bike coast, the speed drops even on slopes. Is anything wrong with my bike? Any ways to check the fault? Don't want to go to the ASC. They don't understand at all.

Keep the bike on center stand , without starting the bike try to rotate the rear tyre in neutral gear . Apply some force while rotating the tyre , it should complete at least one rotation when sufficient force is applied. Check the front wheel in same way .
                            Post the results.

How many km has the bike done. Mine took some 1500 km to open up I'm still not pushed it passed 100km/h even though I'm at 3000km

Yes I have tried the same. The rear complete the revolution without any stress. Front looks like doing it under some resistance but still completes it.
