I have heard that on high beam, only the high beam works, not both the lights, yet I came across this pic.

    Now I'm properly confused.

In 2nd pic pass light has been used without switching on the lights. You can see the pilot lamps are not listed. Simple observation

Yes it does like any other conventional headlight unit.

AS is a new bike so its gonna be tough to get the windshield now.I stay in Bangalore so I will ask the dealer here.if he has it then I can courier it to you if it's okay with you as there are high chances of getting it here in Bangalore.
That would be cool and very nice of you. Just inquire about the wind shield of AS200 from your dealer. See if you can get it earlier. Let me know when available, if so, I can pay you in advance. Because I have checked with two major dealers in Chennai and they are blinking their eyes, saying Bajaj has some production issues and asking me to wait week after week. If they are not able to provide spares for the currently on production models, then how de hell are they going to do for stopped model like NS? . Waiting for over a month for spare is too much.

            Thanks bro.

              Hi Guys,

After long search I finally came to a conclusion and bought this super cool bike AS200 (Red). I am tall and heavy and the bike suits me well. I have upgraded from my little twister to this red beast.

Please suggest some ideas how to maintain this bike.

Also I have some clarification 1. The engine is heating too much that i could feel the heat in my thighs

              2. I feel more vibrations in pillion seat.( guess that will reduce in time being ) will these get settled in time ?

So please help me in clarifying these doubts.

              Thanks !

That did not happen in P220, AFAIK. Only one light came on in 220.

What? The low beam does not light up when using high beam. H4 has two filaments one for the low beam and the other for the high beam. Both filaments light up when the pass switch is used, but otherwise only one filament lights up at any given time.

I don't know about the photos as I do not know much about the 200AS yet, but I'd guess in the first picture what we're seeing is the blooming effect, the picture seems to have been captured a cellphone camera which typically feature CCD sensors while the second picture looks professionally captured using a DSLR which are almost always CMOS sensor. The second picture was maybe captured using spot metering on the headlamp exposing it for highlights instead of shadows. I'm not sure though, I need to look closely at a 200AS before I could confirm.
                  I am back!

In this pic only the projector and the pilot LEDs are on.. It's the phone camera making it look like the high beam is on,
the LEDs are really bright and it looks like a blast of light in pics. On low beam only the projector is on and on high beam
                    only the reflector is on.

No offence mate, but don't confuse people.
A good rider has balance, judgment, and good timing. So does a good lover!

(Post your run-in period, these things should be fixed)

Congrats and have a nice riding experience. Follow a proper run-in procedure to get a reliable and trouble free engine. Always warm up the engine for 2-3 minutes in morning

Hey thanks for the response ! will note down the tips !

Also the battery, service and engine oil light is always showing (red light ) but is stable not blinking... so i should worry ( service it ) once it starts blinking right ?

It should turn off once you fire your engine. Remember, the service reminder works only based on KMs done. If you have not done enough of 500KMs a month, still you should service the bike but the reminder doesn't show that.
