Your bike seems running lean, and don't worry about oil, 3100 is good oil.

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
had a fall on monday.
left size flare indicator clutch liver took hit.
I GUESS EVEN HANDLE BAR TOOK HIT
svc saying it will take 15 days to get parts till i can use bike no issues
but i can c some sticky substance on white bolt on handle which is next to lock in middle of handle bar. is something licking from part where handle bar joined with frame?
should i stop drive him till it parts arrive or its okay? whats that sticky grease like substance?

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
From the handle lock nut, it could be grease which is used in the conset or the fork seals has gone busted. But I dont see any justification for that sticky substance to be on the handle lock nut due to fork seal busting.Originally posted by nikx3392 View Posthad a fall on monday.

If you are not feeling any handle wobble issue, then ride on nothing to worry.
I hope this was a small fall, ride safe brother!!
Cheers,

Set idle nut .. On cold set on the 1.1k rpm on hot around 1.5k rpm .Originally posted by deebee View PostThis might be a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway - what can affect the idle speed after a quick burst of acceleration?
Recently, the idle speed has been jumping to around 2,200 rpm after a quick run, however brief. This has never happened before - no matter how hard I rode, idling used to stay constant at 1,400-1,500 rpm.
Can excessive coolant levels cause this? At the last service, the coolant was topped up to beyond the "Max" line. Also, I (stupidly) shifted to Motul 3100 20w50 at the service (I'll move to 5100 after this).
I am using motul gold i am quiet impress it cost same and run little smooth n good performance and of course better drain interval.

But the problem is with 1.1 idle the bike will have problems in cold start as it will stall when you Start the bike in the morningOriginally posted by royal racer View PostSet idle nut .. On cold set on the 1.1k rpm on hot around 1.5k rpm .

Cold start is common on every ns/ktm.Originally posted by xplod566 View PostBut the problem is with 1.1 idle the bike will have problems in cold start as it will stall when you Start the bike in the morning
Carb tune n set idle perfectly you can never face this problem..
I set may idle on cold 1k rpm and on heated engine it goes upto 1.6k rpm max.

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
No it's true. I have got 46 kpl and regularly 44-46 kpl when i was doing my running for the bike. But first two times the mileage was bad <36/38 kpl, at least before first service. Then it improved a lot. Especially in first half(1000) where i never took her beyond 48 kph or no more than 3.5k rpm max(you might want to call me 'nuts', or say the enigne will knock or soo soo soo. But did 100% ditto of manual) but it gave me surprisingly such good figures and a good engine. Check ns forums earlier threads. You will see many people claiming 45kpl easily. Also if you weigh less and fill about 3-4 instead of full tank, and solo ride then it can help for even better mileage. But by doing this, you can pull out more kms from her. Trust me....Originally posted by xplod566 View Post35 is good.but 48 is absolutely unreal.
My bike is not lean. How?......
At cold start it starts with 1100 rpm and on 3 minutes warm up, it hits 1300rpm. After riding harder, it never goes beyond 1600 rpm.
But now my riding habits have changed and I'm getting 34-37 kpl max. No longer interested to babysitting the machine
I even see some RS guys claim 40-42 kpl, then why not ns ?

Don't compare the Smoothness of Bajaj with Suzuki and Yamaha.Originally posted by Saurabh213 View PostGuys,
How is the refinement level on this bike ?
How is it compared to gixxer or fz fi ?
Gixxer and Yamaha have way way better Engine refinements than Bajaj and the overall build quality too.
